Coco is the best title they could come up with? Really?

That was also the first thing that came on to my mind.

Another one word movie by the good folks at Disney/Pixar, how joyous.

Disney movies have had one word titles for years, here are all of the ones by Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar:

There's more with Disney Toon Studios.

Well Coco is the main character's name so it isn't like they are calling it "Skeletal".

That's a big step-up from using an adjective.

Hm. Forgive me for sounding hella ignorant, but I'm a little weary of every Mexican movie having something to do with Day of the Dead. It's like every film in New Orleans HAS to have something to do with Mardi Gras. I would expect a little more from Disney and Pixar...sorry.

The plot makes me really worried that this movie will be too much like The Book of Life.

For some reason, it kinda reminds me of a mix of Paranorman, Kubo and the Two Strings, and Book of Life (IMO)

Hopefully this movie will have more to it than meets the eye, much like a few of Pixar's other films. Because with the trailer the only feeling I really got was "Book of Life lite", and that film stood out to me specifically because of how different it looked and sounded from most other mainstream animated films.

All I can hope is that the writing will be better than Book of Life, the dialogue got cringey a lot of times.

Will have to see more, Pixar teasers are historically kind of meh. The ghost world looked nice and hey Latino characters, don't see that often, though that opens another can of worms that I don't feel like opening but while I'm not Mexican( i think this is Mexico ) it's neat to see a little representation, even if its only cartoons.

Pixar's almost overdoing it with the production schedule, it seems. Two in 15, one last year, then two this year... Nothing against this film, looks interesting, it just comes off like they're taking over as Disney's main film machine while the WDAS canon stalls. Moana is Disney's last original non-sequel feature until Gigantic comes out in 2020 (if it even comes out by then).

I just hope all the extra work doesn't impact the quality. Inside Out was great, even if people disliked the plot you can't deny Good Dinosaur had excellent scenery, and Dory was a good popcorn movie. We'll see how these two go.
