Probably a little of both. I think most specials boost numbers by like 500K or so, but even beyond that, if a special event with this level of buzz isn't able to break 1 million in live views (it's possible more people watched on the app, but still), then it's kind of a telltale sign this show isn't a big hit.

Didn't even get a million. What a joke.
What's ironic if they had advertised Adventure Time as well, it probably would've been at least somewhat higher.

It scored more than all of the other CN originals this week, surprising to say the least.

I hope I don't get hate for this. Tbh, are we sure that the ratings on the app are good? The reason I say this is because you need cable to watch episodes on the app, and if the ratings on the live feed are low, whose to say that the app is doing better? Other networks have been putting episodes online first before they air, way before Cartoon Network. If TTG can crack 1mill views alot of the times, how come the other shows can't? Nick shows also get 1mil views and so does Disney, heck even a show on OWN, (The Have and Have Nots) gets 2mil views and its a cable show too. Basically what I'm trying to get at, maybe its not all because of the app, maybe its just the shows themselves on again network? If people can tune in to watch TTG and that show can usually crack out 1mil views per episodes, maybe that says something about the other shows on the network themselves and not the whole app thing. Maybe theres just something about TTG that kids like that the other CN shows just don't have. Agian I hope I don't get hate for this, but this is just something I've been thinking about lately.

No, people have questioned this before, and the fact that networks don't like making this kind of information public certainly carries an air of ambiguity.

But yes, I do also think that the amount of live views they get is for the most part proportional to how much exposure they get on the app. I'm sure shows like Adventure Time and Steven Universe are generally more viewed on there on the grounds that most people who watch those shows prefer watching online, but it's still likely consistent.

And yeah, you do need cable credentials to use the app, but the benefit is you don't need to be in your household to use it. And even if you do use live cable, it doesn't necessarily mean you prefer to be bound to live cable. I personally don't really see any benefits to live cable anymore TBH; it's gotten too commercial and compressed to be worth it for me.

I think so too, I was just trying to give an alternative outlook on it, because no one really knows since Networks don't like to say anything about it, which is odd to me.

At this point, CN might give AT the Legend of Korra treatment and burn off all the episodes online.

Not surprising for PPG, pretty low numbers. I hope this convinces CN to cancel the show.

    Probably the opposite.

As for PPG, it's up to them whether if its feasible for cancellation, other than that, we cannot rule out on the series fate.

PPG did as good as they could have, and that was a good number for it. For a Sunday it looks really good.

Time to cancel PPG2K16 and pretend it never existed like PPGZ.

Well it seem like TTG is once again below one million views, I feel bad for others though.

It seems that these days anything above 500K is a victory.

Poor WBB not only did it see the lowest general ratings, but a low Adult Demo as well.

Sad that the movies didn't see anything big, like some past movies have.

Speaking of movies ,IIRC one of the Billy & Mandy movies was listed to air this week(Spider Queen I think), so I wonder how well that could do due to nostalgia factor.

Man, the NEW NEW NEW NEW episodes have really bad ratings. Even TTG, even though it still got the highest ratings of the block.
