I wonder what kind of ratings Cartoon Planet is receiving. Probably not expecting fantastic numbers, but considering that the bumpers aren't that hard to produce and they're basically rerunning old shows, it'll probably last long.

    From Nick & More's twitter:

    Cartoon Planet - 3/30 - 1.287 million viewers.

I'd say its pretty good. More than what Generator Rex was getting lately...

I think Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Ninjago repeats were doing better... so I don't think this is good for the block.

It'll take time for Cartoon Planet's ratings to build. The promotion for this wasn't very wide spread, and news of this has gotten around via twitter, blogs, and word of mouth.

I bet the ratings will go up gradually. With time.

Do also keep in mind that the competetion on Friday night is tough, and I'm not sure kids likes this project as much as older people seem to do.

I'm pretty sure kids aren't as discerning about old shows as you think.

That's not what I'm saying. But they are probably not as hyped about it, because there's no nostalgia for them, and Disney has premieres that hour so…

Wow, seriously what happened last year that Friday. Those increases are incredible, and Fridays usually don't have as high increases as the rest of the weekdays. 120%, that's insane. You sure Cartoon Planet didn't get higher ratings than 1,2 mil?

Lol, I can tell the Cartoon Planet ratings probably doubled just by looking at those increases.

    Monday night:

Regular Show (8pm - NEW EPISODE)
    - 2.456 million viewers
    - 0.433 million adults 18-49 (0.3 rating)

    MAD (8:30pm - NEW EPISODE)

Cartoon Network was close to beating Nick in kids 2-11 on Monday and beat Nick in kids 6-11 and tweens 9-14. Cartoon Network was also close to beating Disney Channel in kids 6-11 on Monday. Looking over these ratings, I realize the first half up until the summer, Cartoon Network's ratings were terrible. Based on these increases, I sure hope Cartoon Network will have one of its biggest summer's in years.

Ouch and it was a new episode. I think when the show comes back for its second season, it'll be buried or burned through a marathon.

A new series low... If it keeps doing bad like this or falls anymore, I assume Cartoon Network will give up on the show. Did this episode get promoted like all the other episodes or was this not promoted as much?
