CN PT sometimes doesn't play the end credits of a show.
Chowder? I haven't heard anything about Chowder being edited in Asia/Australia...
But those other 4 shows are indeed heavily censored over there
Censorship of Chowder in Australia - UAOACC Wiki. It is apparently
Oops sorry for the double post. I just found out Codename: Kids Next Door's censored too now. Censorship of Codename: Kids Next Door in Australia - UAOACC Wiki
Just an old VCR: This is obviously fake
So I assume only Gumball, Adventure Time, Regular Show, The Looney Tunes Show and most animes are censored in Asia.
I don't know why do they censor those shows over there...
Well I can see why they censor AT and RS but TAWOG and CKND? that's pushing it isn't it? Regular Show is censored over here too but not nearly as badly as in they do in Australia. Adventure Time started getting censored over here around this time last year. When Bad Little Boy aired over here in November the edits were so bad they're unbelievable. You can read about it here: Adventure Time ~ "Bad Little Boy" partial transcript,
Is that because of OFCOM rules? (again)
Not sure if other CNs in Europe are affected (like what they did to Regular Show).
Well they do censor Regular Show in the rest of Europe so...
Those AT cuts are also valid for the rest of Europe?
I assume CN DE and IT won't be affected by the British edits as those feeds ain't broadcasted from London, unless they have similar regulations of which I think they have. Also CN Turkey obviously, but I wonder if Boing Spain isn't affected by the edits.
I wonder why... (Boing ES)
I thought that because:
1. RS and AT aired on TNT Spain (an Adult channel)
2. Both Regular Show and Adventure Time are on a late evening on Boing (but that might be prime time so i'm not sure), it's odd that they don't air it in the daytime.
1: And then they stopped airing it. When RS and AT started airing on TNT ES, I thought that the channel would suffer the same fate as the Turkish version.
2: Prime time, at least.
Anyone have more weird stories to tell, or did they all run out?
One time, the Norwegian audio track fo the Nordic CN aired an ad in Finnish! (that was in 2003)
It's pretty common for CN Scandinavia to air ads in each other's languages. Has happened a lot of times.
