It has about a year more or less since the Ant-Man movie, so he's probably a lot more skilled in Civil War.

    Oh, yeah! Good question. Hmm.

I wonder what the heck Bucky is doing in there. Is he hunting Zemo, who's in the building o_O?

Nice effort from Sharon and Natasha there ;).

"You could at least recognize me." Widow, every time you've met you've tried to kill each other, so unless some form of your comic relationship is actually intact and Bucky's in a state where he can connect you to Cap, recognizing you isn't going to help .

Awesome to see T'Challa get some out-of-suit action .

I wonder if that stuffed rabbit is to remind Wanda of Pietro :crying:?

Ahhhh, Vision and a butterfly :anime:.

Still feel really bad for this team. Just as they're getting settled in as a group and as Superheroes, they get completely torn apart and divided over politics :(.

And our first official look at Zemo and a couple of other images:

Some talk about the initial plans for Spider-Man and Black Panther. Spider-Man originally had a much more prominent role and Black Panther was basically a glorified cameo (it was said he didn't even appear in costume), but when talks with Sony went south and it looked like Spider-Man would be off limits, they gave Panther a much larger role and only wrote in Spider-Man's reduced part later.

I will quote another post and say that I wish they made a movie with this team intact.

Interesting that Spider-Man was intended to be in it so early from the planning stages, before the shared deal between Marvel Studios and Sony happened. It seems like Marvel Studios had alway intended or planned on eventually getting the Spider-Man rights back or at least finding some way to fit him into the MCU or at least incorporate him into Civil War.

Though ultimately I think things worked out for the best, or even better, with Panther's increased role and the writers still managing to fit in Spidey, especially with how well-received they've both been. You give T'Challa a meatier role and the chance to show up in-costume, better building up interest in the character and the Black Panther solo, while still getting to showcase a new Spider-Man for the MCU ;).

Captain America 3 was once a Captain America movie.

Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely who wrote CA/WS and CA/CW original plan was for Cap and Falcon searching and finding Bucky and that leads to Zemo so the story would have focused on Steve, Sam and Bucky. But Kevin Feige came to their office and said "Civil War." They think it was because of BvS. That was why Feige turned CA3 into Avengers 2.5.

Pretty much every single review has said it is still a Captain America movie.

It's definitely nice to hear him praising the film's portrayal of Tony, given the work Favreau did (along with RDJ of course) of defining and introducing him in the Iron Man movies :).

I've yet to hear a single negative comment about Spidey in Civil War ;).

If I didn't know who Bruhl was playing, I'd probably have no idea that was supposed to be Zemo .

4/20: At this point, my hopes for Zemo are pragmatic: Don't die and don't die between scenes. ;)

4/22: Christine Everhart is back. Like the Ant-Man promotion build up, looks like we're getting a nice little build up to Civil War.

Holy crud, it's Al Madrigal from The Daily Show! And I'm totally agreeing with him here :D.

I'm just really scratching my head to figure out exactly what people want from The Avengers. Collateral damage is still likely going to occur even if there is some kind of government committee or organization that oversees and controls the group, so what are they expecting?

That the government will pay for the damages? That the government will punish The Avengers for just doing their job? Are The Avengers responsible for the damage in New York and Sokovia, setting aside Tony and Wanda's involvement with Ultron, when they were combatting the actual threats to the people there o_O?

Oh, and nice to see Pepper going green with Stark Industries I guess :p.
