It's embarrassing for a polished, professional, profit-driven website to turn out results sites created by volunteers in their spare time have done better. Every time I spot another blatantly obvious mistake on IGN, I think to myself "I should start making a list of these." Tonight I think I finally will. These two will do for starters.

This is the full pictured description for Bender's Big Score, from Fox's own website.

This is IGN's version of the announcement, which came three weeks later and claimed the bonus features and the boxart had not been revealed yet.

And this site is owned by News Corp; the same dang company that's going to make this DVD!

What's idiotic about this one? Read the article. Then look at the package. If you still don't get it, look at the comments for the answer.

    Ha ha, oh wow

I'm revealing my nerdiness by complaining about DBZ's website and it's lack of information and fan service [not the pervy kind]. And though I know it has little to nothing to do with the live action film release, its supposed to be keeping us up to date, and never does.

The DVD section seems to get a lot of things wrong. Westley's catch phrase was actually "As you may." And Buttercup was never technically a princess, even if that word is in the title. She would have become one if she'd married the villain, but she didn't say "I do."

Yeah, I know a lot about The Princess Bride thanks to it being a cousin's favorite movie. It was quoted a lot....

"According to the Montreal Gazette, Dragon Ball Z will shoot in Montreal sometime in the coming year"

"UPDATED: 20th Century Fox has informed IGN that this report cannot be confirmed as neither start dates nor locations are locked in at this point."

What you gotta love best is that this time the writer's credit is listed as "IGN Staff." They're ALL to blame!

They didn't close an underline tag in the HTML, and now the entire text on the page is underlined. Again, this doesn't sound like the kind of thing that'd be hard to miss if you checked the page after you published it.

Not really an error, but it should be considered one, as it annoys me to no end. Today IGN stuck an ad for Will Ferrell's Semi-Pro over their top nav-bar. They actually turned the nav-bar into a trap. EVERY SINGLE ONE of the links on it now goes to the Semi-Pro website instead of where you want to go. That is truly a new low for IGN.

I'd probably catch more of these if I paid any attention to that site.

In the Links section the same article (which is this one) is listed twice. They spell Tom Selleck's name as "Sellick." And they say Short Round's only other role in the last 20 years was in "The Rundown." How do you forget "The Goonies" anyway?

Well, 20 years ago was 1988, and The Goonies was released in 1985, so technically they're right.
