Very, very good couch gag this week.
How the HELL is the White Stripes drummer going to say something.......
LOL at the "trying to drown out the loud drums with even louder noise" bed scene.

Marges Father died?
Scat sing the Menu
This is a Beautiful Episode
Ralph is nuts
Great First Act
I saw that act break joke coming a mile away.
Bart takes away something special from Lisa. Eh, at least the music was nice. So far, not bad.
I'm not sure whether it fit with the tone of the show, but the White Stripes video parody was very funny (the duel, particularly).
I won't argue with that.
I still love Ralph. This looks alright so far.
"You know what's even cuter? Picking one without talking to me."
Oh man, Reservoir Dogs parody that DOESN'T deal with the ear slicing scene. Never thought I'd see that.
Wait...was Bart high?!?
lisa and the animals chillin

"You know what? We should have a Benefit Concert!"
The jazz guys were amusing. The ending was a little abrupt, but this was pretty good. I'm satisfied.
an entertaining episode, while the white stripes gag was funny it dragged (and a little old), but good episode it was very enjoyable.
After oh, so many yawn fest Jean episodes, this was the first episode to actually have me laughing out loud since the start of Season 17.
Both Bart and Lisa's story were equally great and I actually felt sorry for Lisa in this. The "White Stripes" going off the bridge was a hoot and Lisa walking off with the Blind Dude's dog from "The Canine Mutiny" was the best bit,IMO. Hell, even the couch gag was the best animated one in the show's history.
Grade: 4/5 (B+)
A few good gags but nothing truly noteworthy. The ending was especially horrible. It made no sense and had no resolution. That works for Family Guy but it doesn't for The Simpsons. This kind of stuff is why it's fallen so far.
This was one of the best new Simpsons episodes I've seen. I never laughed as hard as I did with the white noise scene. The 2 jazz guys were great too, especially in their final 2 scenes. I didn't like the ending, but at least it concluded the plots unlike in Girls just want to have Sums.
