Well, they didn't tell us overtly...
Sure. He loves EVERYBODY...
Dang those are alot of weapons.
Gee, I couldn't ever have guessed that, security guard.
Faye, what are doing in that modest get up? And were is Jet and Spike?
Ladies and gentlemen...Twilight Suzuka.
Not only does she look like Faye, but she straight up has the same voice.
Well, I know a kunoichi is a female ninja. Is there a word for a female samurai?
Jet's narrating, and Spike died in Ep. 1.
She also directed the dub! Man, is she stealth!
Time goes by for Suzuka, doesn't it?
Fortunately, Gene must have forgotten something.
Where did Gene get a Light Shield?
Gene's goin' Cloud Strife on her.
In other words, Fred wants Gene to guard his ass.
Defeat by time. She got Mario'd.
He just picked that up from Raiders of the Lost Ark. Good thing she didn't have a gun.
Oh right. I forgot Suzuka has standards for her assassinations.
Wait, when did Gene get a Light Shield? Or did he always have it and I forgot?
Also, Human Twilight Sparkle has been watching too much anime I see.
Flex Seal. Did anyone else see the Jontron video today?
So for this episode, here are some more voice actor shout outs. First is the infamous Fred Luo, voiced by Toshihiko Seki. His roles include Duo Maxwell from Gundam Wing, Rau Le Crest from Gundam Seed, the Real Char Aznable from Gundam The Origin (please stand up.... seriously, the story behind this is a bit weird), and Iruka Umino from Naruto.
In the dub, Fred Luo is voiced by Ezra Weisz, who is known for voicing Wing from Hunter x Hunter, Mao from Code Geass and....... UUUUUUGGHHHH, Kaname Kuran from Vampire Knight.
Then there's the character of the episode, Twilight Suzuka! In the Japanese version, she was voiced by the late Sayuri Yamauchi who unfortunately passed away in 2012 from cancer. Her most infamous role was Lady Une from Gundam Wing:
In the dub,Suzuka is voiced by Wendee Lee a veteran in the dubbing business since the 80s. In case nobody already knows, she's voiced Faye Valentine from Cowboy Bebop, T.K from Digimon, Yahiko Miyojin from Rurouni Kenshin, Yoruichi Shihoin from Bleach, Haruhi Suzumiya from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Konata Izumi from Lucky Star, and Shura Kirigakure from Blue Exorcist, all to name a few. She's even does voice direction as well, including the Tales JRPG series from Tales of Legendia to Tales of Berseria, Fire Emblem Echoes and the voice director of Outlaw Star itself!
Yet another Magic Knight Rayearth voice as well - she was Umi.
I know a joke that uses the term "wood" as a double entendre, but I'm above that sort of thing.
I don't think Gene plays that way.
Uh, I think you quoted the wrong guy.
(Oh, Hypeathon posted that.)
So yeah, killing just as the sun sets. Hence the twilight nickname.
