Well, a couple of days ago we got the news that the original Naruto will soon be replaced by Naruto Shippuden, after a December filled with movies and specials. However, the original Naruto series will have four more episodes run, starting with this one, the continuation of the Lee/Gaara fight.

I'll be skipping this one tonight, mostly because I'm already 15 episodes ahead of this. I'll leave it on in the background, though.

Hope people are fans Dragonball Z. There's going to be one huge similarity here.

So Lee is willing to die to proove a point? He is nuts, sometimes it is better to live to fight another day.

Spoilers or indications of spoilers are not allowed, remember? @_@ I've been letting it slide before the Shippuden announcement but for the next few weeks it's going to be different.

Welllll, I'm not sue that would really count as a spoiler since most supporting casts in Shonen anime end up doing less later on. I get where you're coming from, though.

Davis was likable, in a "Poor Sod that Nobody Likes" way. Despite all the setbacks he faced in the social and combat arenas and his own personality, he managed to persevere. Sort of a parallel to Rock Lee in a way.

Except Davis was kind of a jerk.

I don't know, he never did much for me.

Yes, Davis did had his vulgar moments (especially early in the series), but who doesn't have those times? In any case, the others characters don't let him get away with it (calling out his foolishness), and he had other deeper aspects that expanded as the season went on.

In any case, I do agree that Rock Lee is a bit more likable, able to contain his emotions as to not be as off-putting. Being a highly trained and disciplined ninja has something to do with that.

Wait? You watched Digimon? Or are we discussing a different Davis?
