Kars Namesake: The Cars (band) Voiced by: Will Barrett The Ultimate Lifeform. Elizabeth Joestar (Alias: “Lisa Lisa”) Namesake: Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam (band) Voiced by: Wendee Lee Elizabeth Joestar was rescued as an infant by Jonathan Joestar aboard the ship which sent him and Dio to their watery grave. She was raised by Straizo and trained from a young age in the ways of Hamon. As a young woman, she fell in love with Jonathan and Erina’s son, Royal Airforce pilot George Joestar II, and the two had a child named Joseph. However, George was killed by a superior officer, who was in fact a Dio-created zombie who had survived through the decades. When Elizabeth learned of this, she assassinated the officer, but was labeled as a traitor and murderer, to be hunted throughout England all her days. Thanks to the Speedwagon Foundation, her name was changed to Lisa Lisa and she took up residence in Italy, becoming a master teacher of Hamon like her adopted father. While initially cold and distant towards Joseph, due to her inner turmoil of abandoning him as an infant, she cares deeply for him. Following Caesar’s death, she and Joseph were the only ones left to oppose Kars in his quest, but she was quickly incapacitated during her one-on-one fight with him. Smokey Brown Namesake: Smokey Robinson (musician) Voiced by: Robbie Daymond Smokey is a homeless NYC street kid who has recently become friends with Joseph. Being black during the 1930’s, he faces persecution everywhere he goes, but has been taken in by Joseph and Erina who see him as an equal. Episode 25 "The Birth of a Superbeing" Chapters adapted: 109-111 Last time Spoiler Being forced to cling onto a rope to stop Lisa Lisa from falling to her death, Joseph was at a huge disadvantage against Kars. Feeling he had a plan, Joseph sets his scarf on fire, stating he would finish Kars off before it fully burned. Kars then cut the rope in the hope of sending both Joseph and Lisa Lisa to their deaths, but fell into a snare laid out by Joseph, which allowed JoJo to hit him with a Hamon attack and knocked him down into the sharp crystals below. As Joseph rescued Lisa Lisa, Speedwagon explained to Smokey how Lisa Lisa, her real name being Elizabeth, was brought up by Straizo who taught her the ways of Hamon. She later met and was courted by Jonathan and Erina's son George Joestar II, with their marriage resulting in the birth of their child Joseph. Unlike his father and son, George II had the ability to use Hamon, but was not trained in it at all, and instead joined the Royal Air Force, battling in the Great War. However, a zombie who had survived the death of Dio and the destruction of the first Stone Mask soon sought vengeance for Dio's death, disguising himself as a high-ranking RAF officer and cornering George II, easily killing the young man who had no Ripple training to defend himself. When Elizabeth discovered the treachery, she hunted down the zombie and easily killed him with her Hamon powers, but she was caught in the act by an RAF official who thought she murdered a human in cold blood. On the run from the law, Speedwagon met up with her; using his foundation to erase all trace of her past, he placed her on Venice's Air Supplena Island where she changed her name to Lisa Lisa. Upon learning of the events, Erina began raising Joseph on her own, and asked Speedwagon to make sure that the young JoJo never learns the truth of the events that had unfolded so he may never learn Hamon and have such a terrible fate befall him as had happened to the rest of her family. With Speedwagon's story over, Stroheim attempted to finish off Kars with multiple blasts of ultraviolet beam, but just as it seemed that victory would be achieved at last, Kars turned his head toward the ultraviolet beams, revealing that he put on the Stone Mask with the Red Stone of Aja in place. Before Stroheim could call off the attack, the artificial sunlight from all the German soldiers and Speedwagon Foundation operatives channeled through the Super Aja, which activated the Stone Mask and sent its undiluted energy into Kars, who then underwent the ultimate transformation. This time Kars has at last obtained his goal of becoming the most powerful being that the Earth has ever known. What terrifying abilities does he possess now, and what hope does Joseph have of defeating him? JOJO'S JUKEBOX Kars has become the Ultimate Lifeform, so this episode’s Jukebox will be for the namesake of the stone that gave him his power, “Aja” by Steely Dan.
