So no Nazi vampires?
Come on, we were promised Nazi vampires!
Curiouser and curiouser...
Well, that baby at the end of Part 1 really paid off
So Lisa Lisa cheats her way into youth, just like Tsunade. *sigh* Women and their looks
So she was the baby Erina saved.
Never ask a woman her age, JoJo.
Jojo needs to learn how to win friends, influence people, and keep his mouth shut.
The real Lisa Lisa's 51 now, actually.
So her father was one of the sultans of swing.
Good ol' hamon/ripple energy, the best away to destroy most ugly wrinkles.
"This is all so unbelievable and hard to accept!" Jojo describes the entire series in one sentence.
It's a dino-horse!
Yes, because horses and dinosaurs look so much alike
No Nazi vampires, but we do get vampire horses.
And now we're about to get all Ben Hur up in here
Why would JoJo think they were dinosaurs?
So JoJo and Wamuu are in a chariot race.
So, Bunnicula is possible in JoJo.
And it's time to strip and ride (with a headband)...
Yeah, JoJo, the ancient Romans used dinosaurs to pull their chariots.
You know, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a school in America that actually taught that.
There's Roundabout after all. The middle verses.
Whew! "Roundabout" makes it after all.
Episode 21 was pretty sweet/intense,
Wired Beck, a cool entertaining vicious vampire henchman, has cool powers.
Lisa Lisa vs. Wired Beck was pretty sweet, Lisa Lisa easily killing him was awesome.
Love Joseph's funny lines, hehehe.
Next to Dio Brando, both Kars/Wamuu want nasty vampire armies as well for world domination, hehehe.
Lisa Lisa's bluff on the time bomb for the Red Stone of Aja was great and proposing for Joseph vs. Wamuu along with Lisa Lisa vs. Kars was perfect, but poor Lisa Lisa is no match for Kars though.
I'm glad Messina is alive saved by Joseph, just knocked out, but needs a new artificial arm.
Seeing more of Lisa Lisa's background history was sweet, Lisa Lisa was the baby Erina saved, surprising/interesting(I thought it was Joseph as the baby), and she was raised by Straizo who taught her Hamon and made her stronger which Straizo is Lisa Lisa's father was pretty interesting.
Joseph's reaction on Lisa Lisa being the baby was so funny, hehehe.
The vampire horses are cool, Joseph thinking they're dinosaurs, hehehe.
Joseph vs. Wamuu for a chariot race, awesome, and Joseph having Caesar's bandana was cool.
Nice that the show explained what became of the baby Erina saved at the end of Phantom Blood. Nice that JoJo retrieved Meshina from the mansion, I was worried that everyone would forget about him.
I thought that this episode was pretty good. Lisa Lisa was able to demonstrate her own skills pretty effectively, which was nice since she hasn't been fighting much lately and she's the only prominent female character thus far that isn't a love interest. Joseph refusing to take the antidote until after he defeat Wammu made sense, but Lisa Lisa refusing to hold onto it was some pretty ominous foreshadowing. Mentor figures don't tend to survive in stories either.
While it would have been easy for the vampires to overpowered them and kill them, Lisa Lisa kept a cool head and was able to buff a story about the stone in order to give them time. It also helps that Wammu would want to fight at least Joseph on his own. I thought that the instructor was dead, but maybe Jojo wanted to at least get his body out of there since he couldn't do that for Caesar. Joseph looking through Lisa Lisa's clothes was kind of creepy. I know it was so that he could find the pictures and they could reveal their connection, but that's still more creepy than funny to me. I was wondering if they ever would address the baby that was saved at the end of part one. Although, I don't know why they couldn't just have Lisa Lisa be the daughter of that baby instead. I guess that they wanted to just throw in a twist when she doesn't look any older than late twenties or earlier thirties, but I feel like they could have done the same thing with making her the daughter.
The vampire horses looked so creepy, but it was an interesting way for Joseph and Wammu to have their rematch. It was nice that Joseph put on Caesar's headband right before the battle started so that they could face the fight together in a sense. Overall, it was a pretty good episode.
