From an interview with CBR:
Hmm, a DC Nation short?
Either that, or he could be directing a new DC Animated Feature.
But saying its a new thing for him, I'd say it's likely a DC Nation short .
New? I guess that could mean anything from DC Nation shorts, to live action shows, to video games, maybe just some comics. Essentially, whatever he's working on is new to him, so animated shows and DTVs are out of the picture...
Are we finally going to get those Black Manta shorts, Black Manta Un-something-or-other (I totally forgot the name they gave them...)
The Celebrity Hot Tub pitch?
In addition to promoting he was working on the Scooby/WWE DTV, back in summer 2013, Vietti teased this
So I think the two are one in the same. It definitely seems something animated.
It may be an animated TV series, but might be based on a character Vietti is not experienced with or has used as a main character. I would not rule that out.
The justice league or superman, there I said it lol
Whatever it is, hopefully it'll turn out great.
This might be related to the project but here's Brandon Vietti and Jim Krieg with some well known VAs at a record.
Jason Spisak and Josh Keaton, with the voice director from GL:TAS... could it maybe be a Green Lantern and Flash short?
But then, that wouldn't really be something I'd call "new thing" for Vietti.
It would be the first DC Nation short he's directed. So new. But I'm skeptical they are still making new ones. Then again I guess now that they're paired with TTG! CN in theory would want 52 total shorts for each new episode of season 2.
I'm still of the belief that the DC Nation Shorts are no more... CN are just burning off what remains.
Anyway, this is an interesting tease. I find it hard to believe that WB would do anything with the Green Lantern property for a while... so we can almost forget about that.
It's probably something similar to JLA Adventures. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.
It would be great if it was a sequel or something to JLA Adventures' "Trapped in Time". That was a fun movie, and it would be nice if it lead to a more kid-friendly line of films released alongside the DC Universe DTV movies.
It could also be only a DC Nation short, or series of shorts. Either way, it does sound pretty intriguing.
I think a lot is being burned out and we'll get announcements starting in July. I don't know about the Batman Harley kick consumer products seems to be on right now, though.
Brandon Vietti tweeted about the mystery project again. Caution, intrigue.
Gorilla Grodd or Ultra-Humanite? Now I'm really starting to think that this project is Green Lantern/Flash related.
At this point, I'm guessing we'll find out about what this project could be about at San Diego Comic Con but Vietti tweeting he's drawing DC storyboards today.
Seems definitely Flash-related. Either that or an out and out adaptation of Crisis on Infinite Earths.
Do we have an idea if it's a movie, series, or something else? I remember Warner Brothers saying that they had three new shows on the horizon a while back. Hopefully he's working on one of those.
No, we don't know what format it is.
Correct, that was back on September 12, 2013. Stated by CEO Kevin Tsujihara.
I bet for an animated film of GL / Flash against Grodd!
or just a Flash short against Grodd!
