I was hoping it would stand out more from the main Black Panther suit then just being, basically, a gold recolor .

Does feel like a nod to the Priest suit...

Maybe it's a good thing Sony won't let them use Venom :p.

You think that was SONY not letting them or MARVEL not wanting him?

Well, I don't think Marvel was at all privy to Sony's plans for a Venom spinoff, let's put it that way.

We all knew they (SONY) were planning a Venom solo and Sinister Six. I think Feige were willing to let SONY do their side hustle with the Venom-verse.

On topic; I have a feeling they'll just go with a kinda typical storyline in this. I just really hope they do Klaw justice and give him an arc which began in A: AoU. Killmonger is a toy merchandising campaign. I suspect Klaw will probably come in costume in a sequel. As for giving us multiple villains, BP surprisingly enough has some decent foes still to be utilized. This film has three, but there are still some that can be used, albeit with needed adjustments.

I agree it'd be nice if it looked different, but I'm guessing they wanted to homage Killmonger's Black Panther costume from the comics.

EDIT: In the video below at about 18:20, one of the commenters says that the toy doesn't look like the suit in the trailer and that the one in the Comic-Con footage has much more prominent gold and is "shimmering."

That actually looks a lot like the image on the package.

This looks amazing the more we see :D.

I love the look of Wakanda .

Looks like Shuri is designer for T'Challa's Black Panther suits ;).

T'Challa and Shuri having their own sibling handhsake is adorable :anime:.

Killmonger doesn't sound like he has a Wakandan accent, so I'm guessing they're keeping that he was raised outside Wakanda (which I don't believe has been mentioned in interviews yet) :ack:.

T'Challa in those plains with the Panther tree...is he communicating with Bast ?

T'Challa and Killmonger's fight in their suits looks like it's going to be awesome, but I do wish they had gone for something more distinctive for Killmonger's design then "gold Black Panther" even if I get what they're referencing :).

I'm a little disappointed Klaw's sonic device doesn't have it's cone shape .

I can never get enough of that Black Panther suit in action :proud:.

I want to cry inside. It's so beautiful...

I can't wait to say I saw a Black Panther movie. If only younger me was here to see this.

    :D!!! That was dope.

10/16: No, I believe it was already confirmed he's not from Wakanda originally, Brooklyn I think.

That was my favorite scene. So surreal. The colors. OMG.

10/20: The Prequel #1 revealed T'Challa started out as BP a week before Stark admitted he's IM.

It's kind of funny to think Tony and T'Challa's respective origins were happening concurrently ;).
