Looks amazing. Shatner definitely impressed me here and it was great (if a little sad) to hear Adam West's voice.

His final Batman adventure. I hope they gave him a good one.

After Mayor Batman, anyone want to bet money it's Robin's turn to be nasty for awhile based on the end of that trailer? ;)

This trailer looks really exciting and more compelling than the first movie (to me). The more serious tone, Batman's relationship with Harvey Dent, and the villains on display really sell this story. I hope this is a great movie to say farewell to Adam West's Batman.

Definitely matches that excerpt of the script Newmar posted.

Nice surprise to see Hugo Strange and Holly Quinn. I see they're both from the recent comic, both specialists in Arkham Institute's deep-security ward. Not shocked Strange turns out to be a villain but geez, just up and spoil it in the trailer? lol.

The tone in the trailer was a little different. I wonder if that was on purpose since they're basically continuing the show as if it didn't end in 1968 so this movie is in theory nearing the Tet Offensive, the Civil Rights Movement -- a shift in the zeitgeist from innocence and optimism.

Holly Quinn? Does Harley have a sister whom I'm just learning about? I agree about the spoiler in the trailer. Whoever cut it should be taken out and beaten with an artist's t-square.

Thanks! The cast & crew information at IMDb might not be completely accurate. I submitted much of it before we had any official word on anything beyond the leads for the movie; I cribbed much of my information from the Caped Crusaders film.

As I predicted, Michael Jelenic & James Tucker are also working on the movie.

Now that is what I'm talking about. A perfect blend of the traditional Batman tone and imagery with the Adam West Batman. I'm a little skeptical of Shatner as Two-Face (not Harvey Dent). I think it's because I'm imagining Shatner in a recording booth doing that voice. And it's hilarious. Can't wait to actually see that in the special features.

Now on with another "BATMAN AGAIN?!" rant. The trailer specifically says "in a DC animated movie". The DVD cover says "DC Animation Original Movie". Am I to assume that this supposed separate "DC Classic Original Movie" line is now defunct because they can't milk any more Adam West Batman from it?

I don't think that the DC Classics label is defunct so much as re-named. DC Animation Original Movie might be less confusing as the previous label might lead consumers to think that they are seeing re-releases of older content. I am hoping for /half-expecting news of a Wonder Woman '77 animated movie featuring the voice of Lynda Carter.

The future prospects of any further Batman movies in this line are very unclear following the loss of Adam West.

The Batman '66 comic's version of Harley Quinn is named Holly Quinn and the name she adopts is Harlequin. If they keep that intact in this movie is to be revealed.

No, the DC Animation Original Movie label has been around for a long time now but not as promoted as the DC Universe one. I believe ever since Superman: Brainiac Attacks. It's basically the PG line of movies - Batman Unlimited, DC Super Hero Girls, etc.

    Thanks! Now I know. ;)

Okay, so it seems that DC Classics has been folded into the earlier line. I briefly owned a copy of Superman: Brainiac Attacks! but divested myself of it at the first opportunity. We could still, though, see a continuation of retro movies such as this.

    Please don't.
    Please stop.
    It's not even annoying anymore.
    It's boring.

The bonus features for Batman vs Two-Face have been revealed including a tribute to Adam West (fortunately) via Comic-Con.

Special Features for Batman vs. Two-Face include:

    · “The Wonderful World of Burt Ward” (featurette) – Spotlighting Burt Ward’s life away from acting – particularly his many benevolent activities, and his lifelong devotion to the health and welfare of dogs.

    · Adam West Tribute Panel/2017 Comic-Con International 2017 – At the 2017 Comic-Con International in San Diego, a panel celebrated the life and times of the late Adam West, the legendary “Bright Knight.” Fans laughed, cried and cheered as actress Lee Meriwether (Catwoman from the 1966 Batman movie), director/writer/actor Kevin Smith, actor/radio personality Ralph Garman, producer James Tucker and moderator Gary Miereanu captivated the audience with anecdotes and tales about Adam West.

    · Actors Burt Ward and Julie Newmar discussing various aspects of their lives, ambitions and inspirations.

Pleasant surprise to see Bookworm and King Tut will have bigger roles than the last movie.

Desmond Dumas was from that excerpt Newmar posted. I believe was a reporter covering Strange's experiment we saw in the trailer

Dr. Quinzel - guess they're sticking with Harleen Quinzel instead of the comic's Holly Quinn name.

Lee Meriwether, nice! Lucilee Diamond must be a pastiche of Lucille Ball or someone like with Marilyn in the last movie.

QUESTION: Does anybody know what is up with the alternate title given for this: Batman and the Face of Crime? Where is this title being used (if anywhere)? Is this the UK title?

Nope... the UK title is still Batman vs Two-Face.

I imagine they had to trademark that title in case they wanted to use it. However, as we know WB almost always likes to go with the more simplistic title.

Probably one of the working titles like 'Batman: The Caped Crusaders VS Two-Face!' before they finalized the title.

Good to know the Adam West tribute panel will be in there, also good to know the extras trend positive and feature Burt Ward love. I like to think that's more or less how Mr. West would've wanted it.

Only thing missing is some kind of Shatner extra. Last year I had these visions of some kind of Shatner x West feature. Oh well. I suppose events didn't exactly conspire to help that along.
