Sounds like the prologue is about an attempt to cure Two-Face -- that 'ol thing. And I think we know how that's gonna turn out...

Well, Batman '66 will be teaming up with Wonder Woman '77 in a comics miniseries to be released digitally. That could become the basis for another animated movie.

If there is a third movie, I cannot imagine a better subject than that. Seriously.

Look. I am glad that there is so much faith in the upcoming Return Of The Caped Crusaders movie that they have a sequel in production before it's release. With William Shatner as Two-Face to boot. But seriously, AGAIN WITH BATMAN???????? When is this going to stop? So much for the new "DC Classic Original Movie" line, which hasn't even had a release yet.

If WB would just admit that they are intentionally cramming Batman down our throats, I'll get over it and let it go because it's obvious they're going to keep doing that. They could just simply rename the respective lines "DC Classic Batman Original Movie" and "DC Batman Universe Animated Original Movie" and I'll stop.

Batman sells and in this marketplace, they need sales. I understand what you mean, but maybe with the release of Wonder Woman and Justice League in theatres next year as well as the continued success of Arrow, the Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl on TV, other DC characters will become more profitable.

Burt Ward revealed he already started work on the sequel and comments, "No matter what I tell you, you’re not going to believe this movie when you see it. Everything you thought about the 1960s is going to be upside-down on its head."

Given the premise, I feel like Mr. Ward should've worked in "flipped" somewhere into that sentence :p.

Well maybe in the future Poison Ivy can be one of these, I have always wanted to see Poison Ivy in the classic series.

This is GREAT news. West and Shatner together again.
I believe the only time they worked together was on the failed 1964 pilot "Alexander the Great".

I think that's correct! Then they went onto their big breaks, Batman and Star Trek.

Have yet to pick up Batman '66: Return of the Caped Crusaders, but I still ain't sold on Shatner as Two-Face.

On the other hand, a Batman-Wonder Woman miniseries could work just fine. BTW, there's also a Wonder Woman '77-Bionic Woman mini debuting in December from Dynamite Entertainment, in conjunction w/DC.

Like, what's next? Batman meets Captain Nice? Mr. Terrific? Cool McCool?

Well, the DCU has already crossed over with Loony Tunes. And the Loony Tunes have already met Disney characters in Who Framed Roger Rabbit?. So Superman could hypothetically meet Mickey Mouse.

You've got a better chance of Superman meeting Speedy Gonzales than Mickey Mouse. Disney, remember, also owns Marvel, so they won't go for Mickey Meets Superman.

I wasn't serious about that; I was just playing 'six degrees of separation' (except that it was far too easy). Although there was once a huge Saturday-morning crossover event to promote an anti-drug message. I'm not sure if DC and Disney characters might have collided in that.

Cartoon All-Stars to the Rescue (1990)
Okay, no DC superheroes, but Warner Bros. characters did cross over with Disney ones and others.

I could only imagine what the session would've been like if they'd recorded together and opposite each other :D.

The glory of it would've been legendary :p.
