Toon Zone has caught up with Dwayne McDuffie to talk about some announcements concerning the next season of Static Shock. Deny Cowan, apart of the Static Shock crew, made a couple announcements concerning the third season. Toon Zone went to Dwayne about some of the information revealed!

<img border="1" src="http://www.toonzone.net/shows/images/kidswb/staticseason3.jpg" alt="Static Shock!" align="left" hspace="5" vspace="3"width="213" height="150">Concerning the two part Static Shock guest starring the Justice League, entitled "A League Of Their Own", Dwayne McDuffie had this to say:

"It's a large-scale story worthy of the Justice League but it's fundamentally a Static Shock story. It will feel like two episodes of Static Shock with cool guest stars."

When asked if the episode villian was Brainiac, Dwayne simply replied: "I didn't say anything about Brainiac..."

Dwayne McDuffie was also able to provide Toon Zone with a bit of information on the much anticipated (already) second appearance by Batman, and probably Robin as well.

We had so much fun last year, we jumped at the chance to do it again." said Dwayne McDuffe."This time, Static goes to Gotham City. It's an outstanding script from a name you know. I'm confident that the episode will please Batman fans as much as it does Static Shock fans."

When asked who the villian would be in the episode, Dwayne dropped this very teasing remark: "Villains. That counts as a hint, right?"

Toon Zone also asked about Richie's new alter ego "Gear", beginning in season three. Dwayne McDuffie replied: "You'll have to wait and see. I don't want to spoil any surprises."
