We have Kiwi's an the National Zoo down in DC, or so they say.

I've never seen them in their cage in all the times I've been there.

^ The problem is, kiwis are noctural creatures that don't like to venture into the light.

I guess I was really lucky, that one time when I visited the DC Zoo and the kiwi *did* come up to the window. It looked like a combed-back feather duster.

There's a kayak company somewhere up-north, here, called "Kiwi Kayak".
Wow. Do you have an apple corer and/or pineapple corer, too? I love food tools. They're so nifty.

Well yes, that's why they have them in a dark room. I still never see them.

:anime: I alway thought it was the easiest animal to care for in the zoo. Show people a dark room and say there are Kiwis,,, but are there?
Oh this is a scream :anime:

I got a couple of questions, did you find the kiwi?
Are you looking for the bird or the fruit?
What will you do to it when you find it?
and can I look for it too?

:D I'm not the one that actually started this, but I'll give you what I think. There really wan't a kiwi to be found [/lies and innuendo] This was (to my thinking) a participation game. It had no other purpose than to show who was interested in being involved in random fun&games topics. By displaying Kiwiness, you were being part of group fun. Really there is nothing more than that. I personally like random "let's be the same" games. Especially when it involves avatars. It's just a little fun and gives people a chance to ad lib.

Aren't they endangered? is it barbecued or just roasted? Makes me think of a short story show where some guy searched the world for a caped greesbok, not a common greesbok but a rare caped greesbok. Had it's tongue prepared as a delicacy for a condemned prisoner who couldn't be executed if they couldn't prepare his last meal demand. Yes, it was a very strange show.
