There was a Pinky & The Brain segment that was a parody of Fantasia and an early Warner Brothers segment that they were heckling in a News show. In both segments appeared the same TV reporter. I remember they were particulary funny merely by the odd facial expresions they did. Do you know what segment each one was and if there's something in common in the credits of each one? Was the TV reporter a caricature of someone?

The P&TB ep you refer to is "The Brain's Apprentice". The reporter parodied there is CNN's Wolf Blitzer (prior parodies had him named 'Wolf Spritzer'). I don't have the entire Animaniacs ep, but per Keeper's episode list, what you saw were two parodies of ABC's Nightline with Ted Koppel. ('Punchline' with 'Fred Floppel'(?)). "Punchline - Why did the chicken cross the road?" and "Punchline - The chicken or the egg?"

You might also be thinking of "Broadcast Nuisance" with its parody of Sam Donaldson, named either Slam Fondlesome or Dan Anchorman depending on where you viewed the episode ("Dan Anchorman" was use in the U.S. broadcasts, which had some bits cut out and a lot of lines changed to make the Warners less vicious).
