If/when 4kids leaves Fox, I wonder if another company will take over Saturday mornings there. Are there any other contenders looking to pick up a Saturday morning lineup on Fox?

If 4Kids is leaving Fox next year, then who wants to place bets on "The CW4Kids" turning into 4Kids TV by 2010?

Amazing for Chaotic:eek: ! How many fans does this CCG-based franchise really have? I guess it'll now take a long time for 4Kids to fall into bankruptcy, won't it:( ?

I wouldn't be surprised if 4Kids did leave Fox by 2009. Based on some rumors that I've heard and a possible schedule in the CW4Kids thread, it seems like they're putting a lot of their shows in the CW4Kids' lineup. I was thinking that they would keep some of their shows there, like maybe new GX episodes, to at least get something out of it, but I'm just kind of confused about that right now. If they do leave Fox, hopefully another Saturday morning block could start there. That would be better than having repeats of sitcoms or infomercials on Saturday mornings.

The more probable thing? Fox will leave the affiliates to their own device when it comes to E/I content and we'll just see lots of DiC shows like Sabrina, Trollz and Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century being pulled out of the cardboard.

As long as they don't bring back Stargate Infinity...

Jeff Harris has put forward the suggestion, though, that FOX may decide to make their own content again, along with acquiring shows that fit.

Fox made an effort in the past, they could do it again. You never know. Fox has to air SOMETHING and if they acquire Nelvana/Cookie Jar material, along with a kiddie anime or two and some original programming they'd have a good lineup.

Well IMO we need a counterbalance. Whether it is Fox itself or some company I've never heard of.

A bit off-topic, but I wonder if a new thread should be made when this reaches 1000 posts?

Well, news on 4Kids has been rather scare for the last week or so, but here's what I dug up:

First it was FOX, then it was Cartoon Network, and later, Disney and The CW. Now 4Kids is invading PBS. Not surprising though, given the nature of the show.

Also, this Tuesday, there's the Licensing International Expo, so we should expect to hear quite a few new licenses from 4Kids. Rumor has it that they'll air 18 different shows this fall season (one for every spot on FOX and The CW). Seems a tad unrealistic, but you never know.

They really should move Yu-gi-oh! GX... it just keeps getting pummeled by RERUNS of Johnny Test and Hannah Montana! WTH?

It obviously would be better half an hour or an hour earlier.

At least after next week, the only thing it'll be competing against besides Hannah Montana will be itself.

Assuming that 4Kids TV's schedule stays the same, anyway.

I'm not sure why you think GX would do better earlier, Undrave. It would still have to face off against Disney Channel originals, and possibly Spectacular Spider-Man, which is like, instant death.

Hmm...this past weekend on 4Kids TV, promos were aired for an encore airing of the Lost Episodes starting this Saturday (starting with "Ninja Tribunal" again). However, none of the online schedules have been updated, so who knows if this will happen.

So, anyway, tomorrow's a big day for 4Kids. Last year, they only announced one new property at the NY Licensing Expo (Dinosaur King) but they seem to have a lot more planned this year. We already know about Huntik and Smeshariki, but let's see if they have anything else to premiere this fall.

The new 4KidsTV schedule starting on June 21st as posted on the NinjaTurtles.com website. Shows moving to the CW (Yu-Gi-Oh! GX and Chaotic) have been removed and replaced by Sonic X and Kirby:

    08:00 AM Viva Pinata
    08:30 AM Viva Pinata
    09:00 AM TMNT Classic
    09:30 AM TMNT Classic
    10:00 AM Sonic X
    10:30 AM Dinosaur King
11:00 AM Kirby Right Back At Ya
    11:30 AM Winx Club

I guess the whole "18 show" deal is true, we will just have to wait to find out what the rest are later I guess (and yes I know that not all the properties on this list are shows).

So I figure we probably know what half the shows are now. Just wondering if they are counting the other stuff currently airing on The CW.

    1. Kamen Rider Dragon Knight
    2. Smeshariki
    3. Huntik
    4. Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's
    5. Yu-Gi-Oh! GX
    6. TMNT: Back To The Sewers
    7. Chaotic Season 2
    8. Dinosaur King
    9. Viva Pinata
