Discussion in 'Saturday Morning Forever!' started by Space Cadet, Jun 10, 2008.
That wouldn't be worked on until the main season is over.
Yeah, so they're adding a little twist in that episode.
Are 4kids doing any more promotions at the moment? Aside from that TMNT 25th anniversary promotion, which is more on Mirage's comic side rather than anything to do with the show.
Well, I think they're doing some things with Cabbage Patch Kids and Royal Air Force. Plus, they do a lot of spontaneous promotions, like hosting the Dinosaur King weekends at the Paris Science Museum or bringing the Chaotic and Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG to cons.
Question: do you have to hold back those schedules? Because a lot of people in the Yu-Gi-Oh! fandom would like to know the dub names of certain characters that will be debuting in the show relatively soon (which we could find out through the episode descriptions).

4Kids has placed a 4-week embargo on the specifics. That means I can post the 6th, 13th and 20th. I got my own site, as well as Disney schedule info to maintain here as well and I like to keep everything updated in sync.
Just keep looking. Should all be done this week.
Thanks, I appreciate it.
So now that we know Fox is done with cartoons and airing commercials on Saturday mornings now, CW4kids is the only non-cable "real" Saturday morning block left.
Will this help them or hurt them?

Lots of stuff going on this week. Di-Gata Defenders and Chaotic: M'arillian Invasion start over from the beginning, and the original Chaotic skips ahead one episode (this time for real). At this rate, the last two episodes of the original Chaotic will air the next two weeks, so it's likely that M'arillian Invasion will move to CW in January.
Also, Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight airs its first episode as a sneak peek, and The Spectacular Spider-Man will only air once this week. GoGoRiki airs a new segment in the first slot, then goes back to the beginning. This will probably happen next week too, we'll probably see episode 12b, then 1c and 2a. In reruns, the episodes will probably be joined together. I remember this happening with Viva Piñata before.
I'm excited for this 5D's, since it's the debut of... how do you make spoiler text?
I thought it was "Search for the Dragon", without the first "The".
(BTW, I don't have time for the JPN 5D's, so this is my first time seeing it)
Well, I think the way that 4Kids TV surged on the weeks that the CW4Kids fell and vice-versa shows that they're passing back and forth the same viewers, so hopefully this should unite them.
It should provide a decent bump for a little while at least.
Now that we're coming up upon 1000 posts, we need a new subtitle for the next 4Kids thread.
Remember we've had:
"4Kids Talkback: The Madness Ends Here - The 4Kids Discussion V2" and "4Kids Talkback: A New Dawn Begins - The 4Kids Discussion V3"
(I love how we never had a V1 thread. Thanks for that, 4Kids guy. )
4Kids Talkback: A Shift in Programming
Or something with "Shift" in it.
Oh, and, kind of off-topic, but on the TV IV (think of it like Wikipedia meets TV.com) I (and the user "Joltman") composed something.
It's all the 4Kids/FOX SatAM schedules since the days of the Fox Box, just to look back on it. It took a bit of work, since I didn't watch the Fox Box much before Sonic X and Shaman King premiered, so I had to dig up old ToonZone threads and use the Internet Archive a lot, and I don't watch Bratz so I had to do a lot of research on when the new episodes aired (TV.com didn't exactly help).
I also needed to check again for a few things in the Summer of 2004 because I didn't remember it that well - it jumped around so much.
How about "All That Remains", to symbolize that 4kids is the last stand of Saturday morning cartoons.
Yeah, that sounds better.
Wow, that's really impressive. It must have taken a lot of work to track all that information down.
And yeah, macattack's title sound pretty good. Mugen, you can make a new thread whenever you're ready.
And one that note, this thread is closed.
