I am very saddened by this news. Aono's wonderful performances in Dragon Ball truly showed off his range as bother a comedic actor, a villain, and a God. To lose him in such a manner is upsetting, espicially looking back at how many other Dragon Ball actors we have lost lately. The past two years couldn't have been easy on him and his family, but I hope they can begin to heal soon.

Not nearly as unexpected as it often is, but still a very sad loss of a great legend. I hope the best for his family and friends.

You know, it was unrealistic of me, but I had always held out the hope that Aono-san would recover from his stroke and return to voice acting at some point. Sadly, it was not meant to be. Truly he was a legend in his field, and with his passing an amazing talent is lost. Farewell, Takeshi Aono.

Rest in Peace to the man who was both God and the Devil (from space) AND the world's greatest swordsman.
