They have two others show who will be removed: Top Cat and Dennis the Menace.

I feel a pity to those who worked on this station who don't have ideas is to built a channel like that. Apparently, they have small revenues because the channel renewed of shows too rarely. When the channel have free-commercial, Teletoon Retro offered sometimes new old shows in air but they have lots of ad's and commercials and like Boomerang, the channel updated their schedule very rarely to this while. (Tough they changed only one time per year, in fall.)

Since they took Top Cat off the schedule (which pisses me off) they should make him Boomeroyalty next month or in the near future.

Honestly, I think that I could do a better job running Boomerang. I surely couldn't do a worse job.

Let's hope they keep the 80's Jetsons episodes in the rotation with the originals permanently. I really don't watch the latter unless it's with the DVD player. The syndicated version of the 60's episodes are very horribly butchered.

Man its like a two-way street with Boomerang. On one hand I wish they'd have a bigger budget to work with; but on the other, they'd have to depend on ad revenue which could lead to a shift from its original focus.

Well, at least I'm very happy to see Duck Dodgers is back. It's been a while since it was on Boomerang. I hope the eps come on Verizon's Boomerang On Demand soon so I can record and keep the eps.

However, except for a few good titles like Speed Buggy & Banana Splits, the channel could use a tad more variety.

I saw a promo on Boomerang saying that Smurfette is Bomeroyalty this month, not Papa Smurf.

^Yeah, Smurfette is indeed this month's Boomeroyalty, but in the end, whether they go with Papa Smurf or Smurfette (the only Smurf characters to ever be Boomeroyalty) is moot; it all amounts to the same thing: Smurfs episodes.

You give Boomerang too much credit. Again, if Top Cat hasn't been Boomeroyalty before, then he's never going to be, because making a different character Boomeroyalty would mean making a new bump for that character, and nobody at Turner is willing to do that. Boom's been rotating the same 8 or 9 characters for Boomeroyalty in the entire 5 years that I've had the channel. Folks, Turner just doesn't care about Boomerang.

Well I've only had Boomerang for a little over a year so I don't know, but if what you say is true then that's totally lame. This isn't the first time TC's been taken off the lineup though, so I'm sure he'll be back at some point.

I wish they'd have kept Dennis the Menace on the schedule. Since it was only 2 episodes on the weekends, it's not like it was major overkill and the overall series was 78 half-hour episodes.

I agree totally. If anything, they should run Dennis during the week. So many more shows with far fewer episodes currently run during the week.

Mike, Lu, and Og has to be one of the WORST toons of all time IMO, yet they take off good shows like Dennis, Top Cat, and Centurions. Lame!

Even though I'm really happy about Scooby-Doo Where Are You? coming back to the schedule but they let go of way too many classics this time around. It is true that some of them shouldn't be shown over and over if all of the episodes have already been shown. But at least replace them with more classics.

Trust me, I feel that Mike, Lu, and Og has got to be one of the few programs That i just cant seem to watch at all. I do agree Dennis, Top Cat and Centurions will sure be missed.
