"Here Come The Littles" DVD Re-Release Differences

I recently aqcuired the NCircle Entertainment re-release of this movie and noticed some very frustrating things.

My only current comparison is an older 1992? VHS copy of the film which I obtained years ago and I assumed was the same print used when it was released in theaters. Though now some confusion has come up seeing as this Ncircle release various in a few parts from my vhs copy.

1. My VHS release beginns with the movie title "Here Come The Littles" over the panning scene showing the Biggs house, while NCircle's DVD has a new logo saying just, "The Littles" over a minute long scene I've never seen before which pans through the inside of Augustus's walls with the various insects, dirt, cobwebs, him walking past a crack in the wall...etc.

2. Various bits of background music were left out throughout the movie including most of a very suspenseful piece of music during the bulldozer/house evacuation scene.

3. I noticed a word or two Lucy said in one scene was snipped, Tom was telling her to get sleep and in the VHS she replies with "yah....sleep." This was left out for some reason. The other thing I noticed was that mumbles were added to the delivery driver bringing the toy trunk after Augustus yells at him.

4. The last thing I noticed was the ending theme. The VHS print has the full 3+ minute ending theme, black background, tiny yellow-slow moving credits. The Ncircle DVD had a 30 second theme with large white credits over various scenes from the movie itself in the background. These were the same credits they used on the 3-part Toondisney airing of the movie.

I'm not sure if the UAV release of this was the same or why it has differences from the original but I was dissapointed nonetheless in the changes. Though the added scene at the beginning was interesting, I'm curious why it was not on the 1992? VHS.

Anyone knows anything else about this feel free to share your thoughts or info.

You think that might be it? They may have used the version of the movie edited for Toon Disney instead of the original.

It happens to DVDs sometimes. The Ren and Stimpy box says "uncut," yet they used the Spike TV versions that DID have cuts, as well as fade-outs for extra ads in the middle.
