I'm also interested in seeing Justice League season 2 on blu-ray - on the condition it takes up the full 16:9 image in all its wide-screen glory.
Looks like ATM, WHV is focusing on the animated movies.

Why are they called soccer mom editions? Anyway, it isn't surprising when you think about how they are treating Ben 10 Alien Force. I love the show, but I will not buy it on DVD until they release it properly.
As for Blu-Ray, since Season 1 is not done in 16x9, I will not buy any of them until we get a proper S1 release. However, I want Mask of the Phantasm and Return of the Joker on Blu-Ray.

There's still no release date on the first Batman: The Brave and The Bold DVD (I just checked Amazon) although if it holds only four episodes I don't know if I'll get it. I really hope we hear something on The Zeta Project: Season Two soon and if we'll be getting more Justice League on Blu-ray.

I never heard them refered to as "soccer mom editions" until James Tucker's interview. I feel like that phrase really caught on fast. Kind of like "babymen".

I think I first heard the term when the first Batman TAS releases started coming out, the ones with 4 episodes on or so.
They're designed for the casual buyer/mother of target etc. who basically likes the subject matter, is attracted to the pretty cover and not too bothered about owning complete seasons/or will rebuy whole seasons if required.
At least in the case of LoSH (and presumably Batman BATB) they're in episode order, so if seasons aren't forthcoming you can still own the season in order, like X-Men Evolution (excluding season 4 obviously).

From Paul Dini's Twitter:
"Off to bed. Gym at 7:30 AM, followed by on camera interviews at 9:15 for JLA/JLU and Superman Animated boxed sets."
This would seem to suggest that JL/U and S:TAS are getting a "Complete Series" Treatment similar to B:TAS

Hmmm... interesting!
Here's hoping so, but I would rather have the money spent on that Batman: Mask of the Phantasm Special Edition...

And/or Blu-ray sets! Don't know why that's is exciting me; I have everything on DVD already and don't own a Blu-ray player. :P
Amazon.com's place holder listing for Superman/Batman: Public Enemies lists it as starring Kevin Conroy.

Thank you, Paul. I was going to buy all of STAS once I finished up Gundam Wing, but now I'll hold off and buy G Gundam instead.

Which means next to nothing, but is comforting nonetheless.
And, finally, YES! I can get The Green Loontern on DVD. I've been wanting to see that again for a while.

I'm not going to buy 'Soccer Mom' Edition DVD. Forget it. I want the whole season 1. Not individual DVD. Screw that.
Gosh, I hate soccer mom. -_-

Is it normal for Warner to go this long without announcing the next volume of a series (The Zeta Project)? I'm getting very worried.

Batman: The Brave & the Bold Coming to DVD
I was checking out YouTube, and I saw a couple videoclips from Warner for Batman: The Brave and the Bold - Volume 1, and they said it'll be out on DVD August 25th.
I'll keep you updated.

What an odd combination.

Probably because there aren't any other The Batman movies and because all other DCAU Batman movies are already out in Double Feature format.
I wonder if this was The Batman DTV that got rumored a while back, and that people just assumed it was a new DTV The Batman movie.
