Transformers: Animated- "Where Is Thy Sting" Talkback (Spoilers)

Episode 33 - "Where Is Thy Sting"

Premieres: March 28 at 8:00 AM E/P
Repeats: Some weekday morning at 7 AM in the future

Synopsis: Wasp is back, and he is still mad at Bumblebee for turning him in thinking he was a Decepticon spy. When Wasp performs a little switch-a-roo with Bumblebee, each Transformer must figure out who is telling the truth and who isn't. Also, get ready for the anticipated debut of two new Autobots- Jetfire and Jetstorm.

Your Autobots:

Optimus Prime: This Autobot commander trained for elite guard status, but an unfortunate event with a former lover led him to be tainted as unhero material. As a result, Optimus was assigned to lead space debree recovery teams, but now he is the elite commander for Earth's Autobots and is truly earning the name Prime.

Bumblebee: Bumblebee may have fast feet, but his quick wit is constantly getting him in trouble and is one of the main causes he was demoted to debry cleanup. With a patient leader though, Bumblee is slowly proving the little guys can have what it takes to make a hero.

Bulkhead: Bulkhead is recognized for his strength being similiar to the comics Thing from Fantastic Four, but behind that dimwitted apperance is a bot who is a genius with space bridges, and he's determined to prove even the dumbest bot has a place to shine.

Prowl: Prowl's stealth abilities and training as a ninja make him one of the Autobots most valuable weapons in terms of espoinage, but his desire to see things through too perfectly has caused him to drop out of multiple tasks. Now he must learn patience and teamwork to advance to the next level.

Ratchet: This Autobot is known as a skilled doctor, but he is also one of the key weapons behind Project Omega. His desire to keep things slow has sometimes hurt his confidence, but being the oldest bot on the squad has allowed him to train the next generation with much patience.

Sentinel Prime: Sentinel isn't the most patient of bots, and he often lets a lack of patience get him into trouble, but his powerful weapons and quick strategies have promoted him to the Elite Guard and given him a spot next to Ultra Magnus in terms of capturing Decepticons. He also tends to forget bots lower than him.

Ultra Magnus: Magnus is the leader of all Autobot deployments and is armed with one of the most powerful weapons in the world- a hammer similar to that of Thor. As a result, all who truly respect him will always give him the praise he deserves.

Jazz: Jazz is constantly seen behind the panels of the control ships, but he is also the most advanced stealth ninja the Autobots have, and he's always ready to prove he can fight if the situation is right.

Decepticons known to appear in this episode:

Wasp: This bot was a friend and a rival to both Bumblebee and Bulkhead at the Autoboot Camp, but when he was falsely accussed as being a Decepticon spy, he began to experience glitches that have now given him one main goal- to destroy Bumblebee for not seeking the truth.

Shockwave: Disgused as the Autobot Longarm Prime, Shockwave has infiltrated the Autobot ranks with the sole purpose of helping Megatron take over the entire galaxy. As one of his first objectives, he set up Wasp and set him on the course to destroy Bumblebee. While he might not look like much at first, he contains many hidden powers and skills that will make him one of the top warriors in the Decepticon army.

And your human friends:

Sari Sumdac: Sari recently learned she has Cybertronian technology inside her, and she used the Al Spark keys power to upgrade her into a teenage form. Now she stands ready to fight with her father and with the Autobots whenever the situation may call for it.

Isaac Sumdac: He may not look like a complete gnious, but discovering Megatron's fragments allowed him to create Detroit's robotic empire and has given him the title as the man with the most in terms of reverse engineering.

Captain Fanzone: He leads Detroit's police empire, but he also has a huge suspicion of any robots, though he has slowly begun trustnig the Autobots. Now he is willing to ask for help, but he believes the power of the brain will overcome all in the end.

Additional characters might be added after the episode airs, depending on who all shows.

Okay, this is an pure Autobot episode, huh? There's the debut of JetFire, but no Sari or any human, at all. Still good episode, though.

Wasp is his own worst enemy. Our heros are trying to clear his name, and he does something crazy that doesn't make him look good. Real smart.

Okay, Shockwave is powerful enough to do THAT to Ultra Magnus? Ouch. The plot is thickening now.

Loved Jetfire and Jetstorm's russian accents and delightful personalities. Looking forward to seeing more of those two.

Holy crap.

It was an okay episode (way better than last week's, by the way), and then....TWIST.

First Blur, now Ultra Magnus?! What is up with these deaths?!

Anyways, I know Sari is still injured for 2 episodes, but this is geting a bit ridiculous, can she at lest be mentioned?

That was pretty much my only other annoyance of episode, the Wasp plot had a rushed ending to it, I mean, Bumblebee was suddenly back to normal, isn't that very lazy?

The higher ups "requested less of her presence".

I was surprised at the ending
I'm thinking ultra magnus hammer is the matrix given to the autobot chosen leader
I also think shockwave snunk up on magnus as longarm if he was powerful enough take out ultra magnus he would of been the deseptacon leader a long time ago

Hm.

Sari could've worked in this episode, she and Bumblebee have a better relationship, but maybe it makes sense for Bulkhead to have more character development with Bumblebee, I guess.

This was a pretty good episode, but seeing on how it was Bumblebee-centered, the lack of Sari was surprising. All these Autobots dying though...just wow.

Next episode has no mention of Sarri either, but it's good without her.

I give this show credit for making the Decepticons serious threats. Even a goofball like Starscream, it takes at least three of the Autos to even put up a formidable defense. Shockwave has always been a dangerous guy though, even in G1.

If Magnus did indeed bite the dust.... then who's in charge? If it's Sentinel, then the Autobots are all DOOMED!!! The Decepticons could take over Cybertron armed only with spitballs if Sentinel were running things.

I hear there's an episode coming up called "Rise of the Predacons" (or something to that effect).... Wasp will become Waspinator soon enough, friends.

Edit: Whoa! Post #1000 for FF!

I was actually expecting (and hoping) that Wasp would change his name and get an insect alt-mode in this episode. Still good though, even if I feel bad for him.

Well, y'know, Sari is one of the few main characters on this show that they can't sell a transforming action figure of. Sometimes marketing hurts.

Anyway, not only was she injured but physically changed as well. I know that if I went from being eight to being fifteen over the course of one day, I'd probably need a little time alone to adjust as well.

Anyway, one thing I love is how crazy and dangerous Wasp is. Considering how he's essentially the TA version of Waspinator who's best remembered for being stupid, ineffectual and constantly blown to bits. I hope he's just as dangerous once he goes technorganic.
