If you guys want to continue this thread, please follow our List Thread guidelines and provide reasons why you look up to the characters you've picked. Otherwise, it's just a list and lists are boring.

Thanks.

Favorites aren't necessarily those we look up to or those we would want to be. For example, I find Wolverine to be a really interesting character, but I do not at all approve of his methods or model myself after him (putting aside the fact that I went to my school's Hero v. Villain day as Wolvey). And I obviously wouldn't want to be him! (Heck, the most interesting characters are frequently those who have troubles).

So who do I model myself after? Read my name - Spider-Man! I really do try to follow his set of morals, and I act a lot like him, too.

Who would I want to be if I could be a comic character? Um, none of them? All of them have pretty stinky lives or else just go against my morals (Spidey doesn't, but, yeah, his life is a mess....). So no, I wouldn't want to be any of them.

My top five?

1) Spider-Man, for the reasons stated above.
2) I don't know.
3) I never really thought about it.
4) Beats me.
5) Moon Knight, 'cause he's a very original character.

This is a serious question. Are you guys just picking the craziest role models possible for some reason? Are you really trying to tell us you model your lives after characters like Rorschach, Dr.Doom, Deadpool and Trunks? Or do you misunderstand the question and think this is just a favorite character thread?

Not to mention how some of you are modeled after opposites.
How can you be a combo of Doctor Doom and Rorshach? Or of Spider-Man and Deadpool?

Im serious...I like parts of both doom & rorshach personalities, not that I would ever try to conquer the world, or well be rorshack. But I could possibly see me being as Crazy as Tobi or Deadpool someday, minus the costume of course.

The only comic book character I ever looked up to as Peter Parker. He got stuck with being Spider-man, took a lot of crap and punishment from others, and yet still put up the good fight because it was the right thing to do. I also liked how he gradually matured from over the years from a hopelessly unlucky in love kid to a mature dedicated husband who finally lucked out and got the girl of his dreams and...

(someone whispers in my ear recent events in Spider-man)

Um, never mind...

Look up to as role models?
I answered as though this thread is meant about the characters you eagerly wait to read, it should be obvious from my previous post

But no comic book/manga dude is someone worthy of being my role model, not ever
