Total drama, The musical and Stoked!
You thought that TDA will be the last season? Lol read this.
TORONTO (September 23, 2008) - Fresh TV Inc. announced today that TELETOON has ordered more episodes of two of their animated shows geared at tweens and teens: Total Drama, the Musical and Stoked. Fresh TV’s unconventional ‘reality’ cartoon series, Total Drama now takes on a new musical spin for season three with Total Drama, the Musical. This follows the wildly successful first season Total Drama Island, and the yet to air second season of Total Drama Action. Created by Fresh TV partners Tom McGillis and Jennifer Pertsch, Total Drama, the Musical takes 15 lucky contestants all over the globe to compete in outrageous and embarrassing challenges and break into spontaneous musical numbers in each episode. Favourite contestants from previous seasons will return for this globetrotting challenge which is sure to contain alliances, backstabbing and more than a few tender moments in true Total Drama style. Stoked, which will premiere on TELETOON in Spring 2009, is now ramped-up to an order of 52 episodes from the previously announced 26 episode order. Stoked is an animated situational comedy about teens who come together one summer to work at world renowned Surfer’s Paradise Resort – home of the best surfing in the country. For twelve weeks they will spend their first summer away from home, work hard, and most importantly, have the opportunity to surf on their days off. “TELETOON is a perfect fit for our shows, and we are ecstatic about continuing our partnership with these great series,” said Tom McGillis, Executive Producer at Fresh TV. “We are committed to building on the success of Total Drama Island by providing cutting-edge material that resonates with the TELETOON audience.” “These renewals underscore our faith in Fresh TV’s reputation as a leader in tween and teen oriented productions,” said Carole Bonneau Vice President, Programming. “In a competitive environment, TDI brought TELETOON something innovative and funny which viewers of all ages enjoyed. Stoked promises to bring TELETOON fans a wicked ride with tons of laughs, surfing and great characters.” About TELETOON TELETOON is where cartoons live – all day, every day. Available in both English and French in over 7.4 million Canadian homes, TELETOON brings kids, youth and adults the best in animated entertainment. Founded in 1997, TELETOON Canada inc. is owned by Astral Media Inc. (50%), and Corus Entertainment Inc. (50%) Site: http://www.freshtvinc.com/news/news_....asp?c=1&id=24 When will total drama, the musical air? Probably on 2010. For cn, probably 2011. As for stoked, we don't even know if it would air on CN. Depends on how mature it is. |

We already know about TD the musical.
Never heard much about Stoked, though. |

![]() I made a thread about TDI 3 a couple of months ago. ![]() Stoked will be just like 6TEEN but on a beach with surfers. So if 6TEEN does well for CN they might acquire it

So I guess 6teen is to Stoked as Family Guy is to The Cleveland Show.

This is actually the third thread for this.
Still, I'm kind of looking forward to this. It doesn't sound great right now, but I know that the creators can make it work.

The art is over-rated.

I've known about Stocked for a while. After TDI came to the US I did some research on the company that created it.

Stoked might look bad but it might turn to be good. Before 6teen came out, I looked at the art, and I thought the show would suck. Now I think it's the best show on cn right now.
