"Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends" Series Finale In February?

I was reading this interesting article in The Boston Globe about how the series has managed to gain an audience even amongst adults and they mentioned that the series is scheduled to end in February. I thought I’d create this thread in order to share this news and discuss its validity. I already know that the series finale is real, but this is the first time I’ve heard a date provided.

See told you guy's it was one of Cartoon Network highest rated shows. But i'm sad to see the show end, But it's time for the new breed to shine(Flapjack,Chowder,Robotby) Well anyway oh well it had a good run, "But its time to stop running and let other things go past you".

Well of course Fosters had high ratings, no idea who told you it did not. The only reason why Fosters is not even airing anymore to begin with is because Cartoon network is going in a different direction.

All beware the concussion or memory loss it could cause.

Yeah it's making sure all of it's pre 2007 series end so it can make way for the newer series and acquistions. Then again Fosters did reach the 78 Epsiode Mark Just like PPG and actually seems like it's going to end more on a high mark then Powerpuff Girls (which faltered badly in the fifth season and was pretty much a wreck in season six). I do hope that the finale manages to give the series a good ending. I'm also hoping they bother promoting it as such when it comes in Febuary. They were able to do the same for Ed Edd n Eddy and Foster's deserves the same recongnition for it's ending as well.

Well, even though we have a date now, I'm not sure if the site is completely valid. I remember reading a while back on a few sites that the Action block (later revealed to be YAH) was changed from Fridays to Saturdays, but it wasn't.

Reading that article reminds me of how great of a cartoons Foster's has been over the years. It really is something special. CN should be playing it more often.

Fosters deserves a good ending. When CN went through it's bad days, Fosters was the breadmaker. But yeah, I'll watch the series finale, if I manage to remember it. xP
