Okay, we get Akame ga Kill! with no delay. Good deal. Some more obvious ones from Sentai and plenty of others I have mixed feelings on, but always good to see more confirmed.

All three catalog announcements are very great as well. All among my favorites and ones that I'm glad to be able to have people watch legally.

Since today's announcements were for shows that launched today, I ended up seeing them on the lineup and watching them before I actually saw the announcements. Love Stage!! was actually pretty good, and Prisma Illya is at least a little better than it has been at times.

    Magimoji Rurumo

Media streaming service Crunchyroll announced on Friday that it is streaming the television anime of the Magimoji Rurumo manga by Wataru Watanabe (Yowamushi Pedal). Streaming begins at 9:00 p.m. ET, and the streams are available in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Latin America (Central and South America including the Caribbean Islands).

The "magical slapstick comedy" begins with Kōta Shibaki (the #1 pervert of his school) and some magical tickets that suddenly arrive for him. Rurumo, an apprentice witch who was demoted from a full witch, is training with these tickets in the human world. Shibaki can use these tickets to grant wishes that Rurumo must perform as part of her training. The catch is that each used ticket shortens Shibaki's life.

    The series stars:

Chikara Sakurai (Little Busters!, Naruto) is directing the anime at J.C. Staff (A Certain Scientific Railgun S, Little Busters!, Witch Craft Works). Mariko Kunisawa (Hatsukoi Limited, A Certain Scientific Railgun) is writing the scripts, and Kazunori Iwakura (Ai Yori Aoshi, Little Busters! Refrain) is designing the characters. Satoshi Motoyama (From the New World, Senki Zesshō Symphogear G) is directing the sound.
Mimori performs the series' opening theme "Seiippai, Tsutaetai!" (I Want to Convey This to You With All My Might!), and Endō performs the ending theme "Futari no Chrono Stasis" (Our Chrono Stasis).

Wataru Watanabe launched the manga in Monthly Shōnen Sirius in 2007, before he started the bicyling manga Yowamushi Pedal. The first seven-volume Magimoji Rurumo series ended in 2011, and Watanabe then serialized the four-volume Magimoji Rurumo: Makai-hen (Magimoji Rurumo: Magic World) series from 2011 to 2013 in the same magazine. The latest series, Magimoji Rurumo: Hōkago no Mahō Chugakusei (Magimoji Rurumo: Afterschool Magic Middle School Student), debuted in Monthly Shōnen Sirius last June. Like Magimoji Rurumo, Watanabe's Yowapeda manga inspired an ongoing television anime.

More Nobunaga ridiculousness. A shame it's delayed so much, but with these four announcements, we only have a few shows remaining to be announced (other than the ones that obviously won't), so hopefully there won't be anything realistic and of interest to slip through the cracks this season.

The CEO took to reddit and was asked about the popular streaming site. Here's what they said
Crunchyroll CEO Kun Gao recently stopped by Reddit for an "Ask Me Anything," answering reader's questions about Crunchyroll, business strategies, and anime. Asked where he saw Crunchyroll in 5 years, he answered: i think we are really at the tip of the iceberg on what anime can be. there are so many fans out there that still haven't experienced anime, and streaming is just one way to reach those fans. i think overall we feel incredible positive that anime will be here to stay and grow globally and we are really early in that process, and we want to be there to help foster that growth And whether he saw the simul-publishing of manga as a viable business: i think everyone agrees there's an incredible demand and fans really want access to manga digitally. we want to turn this incredible demand into a viable business that shares back to mangaka and publishers. there's still a lot of work that needs to be done before we get there but i'm confident we have the best shot And as to Gao's favorite anime: Cowboy Bebop.
