Episode Summary:When the Decepticons Begin an invasion on earth, Optimus Begins feeling like he's not a great leader

Meet your Autobots:

Optimus Prime: Optimus is the leader of the Autobots that have crashed on Earth. He attended the Autobot academy, but Ultra Magnus made him leader of a salvaging team since he believes Optimus isn't programmed to be a hero.

Bumblebee: Bumblebee may be a young bot, but he has speed and is willing to serve. He worries about having never been programmed for actual battles, but he believes his speed will allow him to overcome any obstacle.

Bulkhead: Bulkhead is strong and ready to bust through must challenges with his strength, but he tends to get stuck on the simplest tasks from being too overaggressive. When he tries to adapt others strategies though, he finds he isn't of much use, so crushing everything in his path seems to be the way to go. Many people like to compare Bulkhead to Thing from Fantastic Four.

Ratchet: Ratchet is a veteran from the previous war, and he's always ready to assist his friends when they are in danger. He has great repair capabilities, but he is also known as being senile.

Prowl: Prowl is silent, but he is also deadly. He usually strikes without any warning. Prowl carefully watches everyone on Earth and is trying to adapt their most deadly skills, even if it's being as silent as a cat.

Some Decepticon that will probably appear:

Megatron: He might be only a head, but this leader of the Decepticons is always a force to be readyfor, especially when he's studying his enemies techniques and building himself stronger body than ever before.

And, of course, the humans.

Sari Sumdac: Sari Sumdac is a young girl armed with a key powered by the All Spark. She's decided to help the Autobots train to become heroes.

Isaac Sumdac: Isaac Sumdac is the creator of Detroit's robot empire, but he has stolen technology from Megatron to do so. He assists the Autobots when needed, but he worries what they will do if they find out his secret.

Captain Fanzone: Captain Fanzone is the chief of Detroit's police, but he isn't a fan of robots. He questions what the Autobots true intents are, but he also recognizes they can help him when the situation calls for it.

Next Episode: Megaton Rising Part 2 - After the Autobots fail to defend the Earth from the Decepticons , they must fight harder than ever to the Allspark.

Not only are the Decepticons going to begin invading Earth, but I would also like to point out that Megatron has been working on rebuilding his body for months at this point so he can claim the All Spark. One of those two dreams will likely come true today- Megatron will regain his body, or the All Spark will fall into Decepticon hands. if the title doesn't give it away, I don't know what does.

I'd say you can also expect these Decepticons to show up:

Black Arachnia:This former Autobot now follows the Decepticons because she believes that Optimus abandoned her and that no Autobots can be trusted. Deep in her heart though, she still loves Optimus Prime and is seeking to make him join her.

Blitzwing: Blitzwin's multi-personalities make him highly unpredictable. As a result, Megatron isn't sure he can trust him, but Blitzwing was the first Decepticon to put bounties on the heads of the Autobots and learn they were located on earth.

Lugnut: This Decepticon may have a few lose bolts in his head, but he is highly loyal to Megatron. As a result, Megatron tries to give him locations to his whereabouts so he can be freed.

Starscream: Starscream is always conniving new ways to try and become the Decepticons commander. His current scheme is to unite all the Decepticons together and take possession of the All Spark. Little does he know that Megatron knows his secret though.

Cartoon Fan, I don't mind if you use the talkback format I've been using or the character descriptions I've been using, but please give credit where it is due. I came up with all these descriptions on my own. The images came from transformersanimated.com. Make sure people realize when you use others material. Failure to do so means you are plagiarizing.

Also, the title is "Megatron Rising, Part 1," not "Metagon Rising."

Are they going to take a brake after the season ends next week or are they going to go strait into season two?

Anyway todays episode sounds great, this is what the season has been building up for.

There will be a break of one week for the encore premiere of Ben 10 Alien Force on April 19. That is the only break they are taking though, so they will be going straight into season 2 after Megatron's body is restored.

Finally this is the episode we have all been waiting for. Can't wait till next week when they conclude everything they are working towards all season.

Well, we knew it was only a matter of time before the Autobots asked the Dinobots for help, but I never expected it to be in the winter conditions they currently have. The way Megatron started blasting Starscream for his betrayal and the way he burst out of the Sumdac Tower were two of the best moments of the series so far. So now we have a five-on-five battle set up for next week, and the All Spark is the prize. Will the Dinobots help? Will Soundwave or Lockdown return to help the Decepticons? The answers will be revealed in Megatron Rising, Part 2- next Saturday.

Grimlock: This Dinobot may have been created by Megatron, but his earth technology makes it where he isn't as smart as the Cybertronians. He leads the three Dinobots and is ready to protect his planet and island at all costs.

Snarl: his Dinobot may have been created by Sumdac, but currently all he loves doing is destroying everything that opposes him. He has always believed that car robots are bad, but his belief is slowly changing to airplane robots are the worst thing imaginable.

Swoop: This Dinobot warrior is one of the few Autobots that can take to the sky. As a result, he is one of the biggest distractions to the Decepticon cause, but he is willing to protect his friends as a silent warrior at all costs.

Prowl must really have a lot of patient, I would have given up on those Dinobots a long time ago, ever time they are given a chance to do good, they choose the wrong path. But they like wild animals, it is not really their fault.

I don't want to be mean, but man Professor Sumdac how could you trust Megatron? It is about time the dolt figured it out. He does not scream good guy to me. Though Starscream isn't very wise either trying to out bad Megatron. It is a miracle if he survives, because he has no allies right now. Who is going to help him?

Question: are spoiler tags really necessary. I mean, the title says pretty much everything.

That said, the Decepticons are wonderfully brutal, what with the dismemberment and constant backstabbing. I think the writers were correct in holding off on their appearances, because it makes every time they show up special.

Awesome episode. I've been waiting for Megs' return. And finally, he's more cooler than ever. I mean no offense to G1 fans but G1 Megs was just a coward. This version of Megs however is not that version. *Evil smile*

Can't wait for Part 2.

Great episode but I have to say my favorite moment was Optimus talk with the Dino Bots. Grimlock says something about the Dino Bots destroying robots and Optimus replies "The Dino Bots are Robots" and then we see the Dinobots attacking each other. That was funny.

I also liked Starscreams talk with Megatron, Bumblebees pointless struggle in the battle with Starscream, that battle really shows how much stronger these Desepticons are compared to Optimus team, Bumblebee's attacks did not even phase Starscream who was having more problem with the Megatron controlled Sumdac building then Bumblebee himself.

Awesome episode for part 1,

Optimus made one of hugest mistakes ever

by becoming the lousy hardjerk leader by making Sari run away & making the key fall to enemy hands but it was good when Bumblebee stood up to Optimus telling about Sari being their friend before finding Sari.

The Decepticons rock as always and are now a bigger threat than Meltdown & Headmaster and I love Blitzwing's crazy split personalities.

The Dinobots rock

as well which they'll help the goodguys maybe.

I'll be sure to find out what Blackarachnia is gonna do with Sari which she's the best badgal Cree Summer's ever done which I still love Blackarachnia's new design.

Starscream is gonna get bashed now

since Megatron(who's awesome) is reborn which poor Dr.Sumdac finally knows his dark secret.

Can't wait for part 2 on how Optimus will save the world & rescue Sari.

I doubt it, Megatron will probably give Issac the honor of being the human to watch the Desepticons destroy earth with the Alspark and be the last to die, as his gift for helping Megatron.

I think Sari has something up her sleve, she has something plan judging by the last impression we saw of her. Remember how she outsmarted Melt's henchmen with the whole bathroom thing.
