Finding each other's identity? Man this episode almost sounds like it should be the two part finale instead of the upcoming JL episode. Still sounds pretty interesting.

Why can't they just make an episode with Batman without partners? Oh, whatever.
I guess this episode could be ok, but I really despise Robin now and I wish he would just die and go to hell, not appear again after a one episode absence.

I'm really looking forward to this episode. And now they have to include Hugo Strange...

Why did Hugo Strange pop into the discussion? He wasn't listed as an appearing role in this episode, was he? What makes people think he'll be showing up?

I don't think he will I just wish he was. It does not seem to happening but I could he him turn a couple of common criminals into the anti batman and Robin as a scheme of his.
However at this point I doubt Strange is involved in the episode at all. i just wish he was.

Around the time "A Mirror Darkly" aired, I began speculating that Hugo Strange might appear in "The End of the Batman", since it's to do with a villain that uncovers Batman's identity (Wrath does so in the comics too), which is Hugo Strange's goal. When the list of returning villains for this season popped up, Hugo Strange was on the list. So he's in the one of the last four episodes, and this one seems like the most likely candidate. How else are they going to explain Wrath and his origin? After all, I doubt they'll keep his melancholy comic origin.

Well, The Batman has shown a penchant for occasionally putting its own fresh spin on a character's genesis -- as with the Terrible Trio's origin story (a notable improvement over the comic/BTAS version, IMO); and Hugo Strange is one of the TB's best villains, most worthy to be giving Batman exactly that sort of trouble. So yeah, I can well imagine something like what you're suggesting for this episode. In fact, I think I really like the idea.

Wait, so we're got three new ones of The Batman? Does that mean we're getting the season finale this month too?

Wow, they are cranking these episodes out!!! - after this theres another two saturdays before 'the spectacular spider-man'... (enough room for 'lost powers' 2 parter)
you think they are just replacing batman with that show or what?

So the rumour I heard is true! You guys really ARE getting the rest of the season straight through from now on! Cool. Unfortunately, this probably means that these are the last episodes. Savour them!
This episode looks very good indeed. Interesting that Hawkman will NOT be voiced by James Remar, so Black Mask must be in there as a little JLU in-joke. Wonder who's voicing Shadow Thief, then?

Looks like I may be right. I figured Kids WB would finish up The Batman and then have Spiderman take in place, keeping that "super Hero hour" at the end of Kids WB intact for the time being.
Oh I agree Hawk man's design change is for the better.

This episode looks really promising. The desgn of Hawkman is nicely done too. I think he's going to be a different guy then the one in JLU..
I'd be upset if I missed this episode.

Does anyone know the actual production order of these season 5 episodes? Every now and then, the site that must not be named releases a few tables that show the Kid's WB! schedule for the month, complete with the episode production numbers; this often helps distinguish the intended line-up of episodes. For instance, I saw this list in December, and it showed that although "Ring Toss" was aired before "The Metal Face of Comedy", it was actually produced afterwards. The reason I'm curious is because Alan Burnett said in an interview that "The End of the Batman" was supposed to come after "What Goes Up...".

It's happened before, not just with The Batman, but Justice League, even BTAS had the same thing. It's not new, nor it is something anyone fusses about. It's a change in the schedule, and it happens all the time. Comics, television, even movies, do the same.

Yes, I know that, but I'm asking if anyone actually knows the correct order for this season. It would be nice.
