Let's kick off this new thread in style, shall we? Let's look at the latest DC Animated soundtrack slated to hit stores later this year!

La La Land Records is slated to release Robert Kral’s score to Superman/Doomsday on October 23rd, 2007. The CD is currently available to pre-order via Amazon.com, Amazon.ca, and Amazon.co.uk. Even Target.com has a pre-order option! Little is known about the CD release right now, but expect an update on this shortly. La La Land Records has a website, accessible here.

You can orer it from Amazon.ca and I'm sure you can make a specialty order from a local music store like HMV. This news is a welcome surprise and I hope it's the first of many Animated DC Soundtracks. I hope this is the first of many to come!

Like others have said, hope this bodes well for other releases if sales are good. I just know I'll never be truely happy until I have at least a 2-disc B:TAS compilation in my hands.

Lord yes. I would love to have one of them.
And Bruce Timm described the Superman: Doomsday score as awesome, so it's instantly a must own.

The new Dynamic Music Partners website, http://www.dynamicmusicpartners.com, has been launched. The new site incorporates a Flash-based interface and allows users to hear streaming audio examples as well as enjoy a more refined browsing experience. Flash Player 8.0 is required, although an HTML version of the site is still available for older browsers. Audio samples include assorted theme songs, music cues, and score samples. These samples cover a wide range of work, including alot of music related to assorted DC Cartoons.

Is there a detailed list of what DC songs are in which playlist? I'd like to know what I can find where since sometimes I cannot make out a peice of music from a DC Cartoon.

I especially like "Prisoner Escapes" (or should that be "Is Released"?) -- which is the cool Task Force X riff from the opening of... "Task Force X." Too bad it fades out just when it starts to really rock...
And don't blink your ears while listening to the "DMP Family/Drama Montage" or you'll miss the entire sequence where Superman and Flash hit the water and run under the whale from "Speed Demons"

"Prisoner Escapes" sounds much more like Batman Beyond than JLU...

Trust me, it is from the scene where Flagg springs Lawton from the electric chair in "Task Force X".
Remember, a lot of JLU music has a similar sound to Batman Beyond...
