I guess I shouldn't be surprised by Disney movies popping up on CN by now but I was still surprised to see James and the Giant Peach listed.

Pokemon Ranger gets a Friday premiere? Well good for it. Pokemon's morning ratings have taken a hit lately.

I find it odder that Movie 9 is premiering, but Movie 8 hasn't shown up on the network yet.

Finally, a timeslot I can watch "Operation: Z.E.R.O." in! I've been wanting to see that for so long. Oh wait, that's a Monday (thought it was Tuesday). Still, I guess I could tape "Prison Break" that night.

Where'd a new Totally Spies movie come from? I thought CN gave up on it, as I believe they've only aired half of Season 4 and the show hasn't been on for months. [Then again, that's been the case for pretty much every show that's aired premieres on Miguzi in the last year - they disappear after limited repeats.]

Definitely have to check out the new Pokémon and Hellboy movies, too. (As for the Lucario movie, maybe 4Kids didn't want to give it to CN, since that was their production.)

Eh, I dunno. Pokémon USA's the one who redid the credits and such (even got rid of 4Kids' little pre-movie title) and the movie was released by Viz Media instead of Miramax.

Maybe the Pre-Movie titles might end up becoming a new wave of episodes of Pokémon Chronicles, and it would also include adventures of May and Max in the Johto Contest Circuit, starting with their arrival in either Olivine City or New Bark Town.

Considering such a project doesn't exist in Japan yet (and unlike Mastermind/Mystery Dungeon, there's no way a product starring May would go unnoticed by Japanese fans), I wouldn't give my hopes up.

Eh, at least there's no new live-action (unless you consider James & the Giant Peach, but I put that in the "hybrid" class like Osmosis Jones & Roger Rabbit)

Well, there is Mouse Hunt, Dreamworks' first family film starring Nathan Lane about a pair of brothers determined to get rid of a mouse in a house left by their late father, a former twine magnate.

Yeah, twine.

James & The Giant Peach is completely computer animated. The one that is live-action that might be able to be classified as hybrid is "Mouse Hunt."

There are two versions of the movie, one was a hybrid, one just animation.

Uh... what?

I've only known of the one that starts with James as a live action boy and ends with him as a live action boy again but the bulk of the movie is CG animated.
