I am totally getting Armaggedon 2006, since it was the best thing overall the Smackdown's put out all year.

I should get ECW Extreme Rules since I feel like Im the only person who likes the new ECW.
I want the ladder match one as well.

cant say anything for the other wwe ones since i dont know if theyre good or not, probably since they havent happened yet.

I'd put Judgment Day '06 above Armageddon, but all SD PPVs have been good-great, with the possible exception of the Bash. Armageddon's cover is just about the coolest thing ever, and Heroes of World Class might have been delayed to '07. The Extreme Rules DVD is beyond terrible.

You know, I'd have to agree, and that's why I'm also picking it up. The matches have been decent all-around. It's just the storylines that have almost killed the company.

But then again, you can only produce crap if you're given crap to work with (Holly. Striker. Khali. Balls.).

But, enough of that rant. I'll be (hopefully) getting Extreme Rules, the Horsemen collection, Best of Styles 2, and the TNA Early Years one. I may pick up the ladder match one, depending on the matches. Most of the good ladder matches have been put on other DVDs so far.

Just a heads up, Wal-Mart has a massive WWE DVD blowout. A ton of sets and single-disc releases are $4 and 9. I got the Road Warriors set for $9, and Rebellion '02 (Edge vs. Lesnar), Unforgiven '02 (Benoit vs. Angle), and Brock Lesnar: Here Comes the Pain for $4. The other stuff I saw was:
Chris Benoit: Hard Knocks ($4!)
John Cena: Word Life (probably $4, and I'll buy it for the matches with Lesnar, Benoit, and Eddie that are on it)
No Way Out '06 (with Angle vs. Taker, which I'll buy Saturday)
Summerslam '05 (Eddie vs. Rey, Hogan vs. HBK, which I'll buy Saturday)
Vengeance '04 (Edge vs. Orton, which I already own)
Unforgiven '04 (HHH vs. Orton, which I have no major desire to own)
World's Greatest Wrestling Managers (this was $9, and has FUJI VICE... so I'll buy it Saturday)
Bad Blood '04 (HHH vs. HBK in a cell, I'll probably buy it Saturday)
Armageddon '05 (Kash vs. Juvi is excellent)
Backlash '04 (already own it, but it's got Orton vs. Foley and Benoit vs. HHH vs. HBK II, so BUY IT!)

Welcome back to "The Greatest Show NOT on TV!", The Hardy Show! Matt and Jeff Hardy, along with longtime friend Shannon Moore join producer Andrew Wright once again and take viewers on a ride through their everyday lives in North Carolina.

Glad to see that the mock-up that silvervison did was not the real cover. Click here if you didn't catch the match-listing the first time around. Of course, I wouldn't be surprised if the listing for disc 2 were updated to get more recent material... at least a couple of Lashley matches.

This is a DVD I definatly wouldn't mind getting my hands on. Most of those matches looks great and it'll help Eddie's family in the process. Good for everyone.

Hermie Sadler's UWF has brought Live TNA Wrestling to many cities across the east coast and one team consistantly has given some of the best matches! Now see the epic encounters of the "TNA Dream Team," AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels defend their TNA-NWA World Tag Team Titles against the best competition in TNA!

1. AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels vs. The James Gang
2. AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels vs. Samao Joe & Petey Williams
3. AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels vs. Jay Lethal & Chris Sabin
4. AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels vs. The Naturals
5. AJ Styles & Christoper Daniels vs. LAX (Hernandez & Homicide with Konnan)

This fun DVD, just released, seemed like a good opportunity to point you to the UWF-TNA house shows which have all been released on DVD, all $14.95. Search the list of DVD house shows for matches like Abyss defending the Heavyweight title against Christopher Daniels, Jay Lethal vs AJ Styles, Alex Shelley vs Styles, Rhino vs Abyss, and too many other intriguing match-ups to name.

And ROH happens to be doing another buy three, get one free special on all ROH dvds this weekend (not the UWF-TNA stuff, unfortunately).

Hey, look what just appeared at shoptna.com with little fanfare:

Nice that TNA seems dedicated to getting all of their ppv's out before *too* long, even if they aren't getting a major marketing release.

I saw the Big Vision Eddie Guerrero tribute DVD at Best Buy yesterday and nearly bought it. It's got Konnan on commentary, and there's also a massive lucha collection available for $35. I also saw Heroes of World Class: the Director's Cut for $15, which is an incredible price, but I passed on it to get the final Lupin DVD box set. That ROH sale is pretty good, and might just be the motivation I need to finally sign up with their site. I think Heroes of World Class should definitely be added to the Independent release listing - it was done mainly by one person, and was produced before WWE bought the WCCW tape library.

During New Years, I made my first ever purchase on RoH's online store! All I know about RoH is from the local TV show they had in their first year, YouTube, mooched DVDs, and news and such people on message boards say is awesome. They had a 25% off deal so I figured, eh, why not? I bought "Dragon Gate Challenge," "SHIMMER: Volume 5," and an awesome Great Muta shirt. I've just recently finished watching them.

I absolutely loathe how dark RoH keeps their arena. Inside the ring, everythings fine, but only a few feet outside, it's almost all black. There are several times where I'm just staring at black. Colt Cabana and Homicide have a Falls Count Anywhere match, and they just have one spotlight, so that was really annoying. Also the really boring show names. Those're my only problems with this company.

The action in DGC is solid. I'm familiar with the Dragon Gate guys so I knew they were awesome. Their match at Supercard of Honor was better though. Samoa Joe vs Chris Daniels was great as well. Also there's a really scary botch in an undercard match that I'm shocked no one got really hurt from.

SHIMMER: Great stuff. It's like the WNBA to RoH's NBA. You aren't going to get any really flashy stuff from the ladies, but they're all really solid workers. I plan on picking up volume 6 when I go to a RoH show this weekend.

Ein (or whoever else may know):
Does PWG cut out entrances and everything else with unauthorized usage of music? I've read that they've done that in at least in the DVDs of their earlier shows, and that's seriously making me hesitant to buy BOLA.

I've only bought shows from their first year, and they've all been uncut... except for the ones that I've bought from Highspots. Highspots prints their own copies and cuts out all licensed music... which is annoying as all hell especially when a title changes hands and you don't get to see the celebration. Stick to ordering through PWG directly.

Funny you should mention Ring of Honor's video.. of the forty or so shows that I've watched I've never had a major problem with the video... until this evening when I decided to throw on Death Before Dishonor II, part 1, while waiting for Raw to start. They had the lights on far too high, and it's like watching beings of pure energy. But that's the only really bad video I've seen.

Talk about a big waste of time with the DX DVD. When I first heard wind breaking out over this, I was like, "Sweet, a collective Anthology, maybe get to see some of the old stuff...'' NO! We get basically what happened in 7 months in one three-disc package. That's my rant for the thread, but anyways, I got Wrestlemania X-Seven and 2000 from my local FYE this year, and I think the ladder match DVD will be a good purchase. I'm probably not going to get more DVD's right now, I've got about 50 right now, and I might sell a few.
