I disliked Bob Kane's other TV show when I saw it years later, "Courageous Cat". But I absolutely loved watching "Cool McCool" when it was on.

Of course, a lot of cartoons of my 1960s childhood don't stand up too well under my viewing today (there are some exceptions). I wish I had run into those videos so I could judge for myself.

Yeah, I remember Cool McCool. I remember I always enjoyed watching the show. It was aired back in the early 80's as part of cartoon block. Along with Cool McCool cartoons, there was Beatle Baily, Archie, Super Boy, Superman, Batman(1960's) and Aquaman with his sidekick Aquaboy.

I see you really love to watch Cool McCool, I'm so happy to fan another Cool-Fan

But Cool McCool wasn't made in the 80s. He was made in 1966. But thank you for telling me about it.

So what episodes from Cool McCool did you like? Try to remember.

Unfortunately, I can't really recall any episodes to memory. I do remember bits and snatches of the show, such as the opening titles ending with the boss blasting off Cool McCool, and our hero intoning "Danger is my Business!" as he heads for a rough landing. And I recall the opening for the backup cartoons, in which Cool McCool would serenade on a guitar about his pop (I remember he was quite a polite bobby in leading his men).

Oh, I see. Number One always enjects Cool out of his office. As for Cool's dad Harry McCool. Harry is a Kop and his brothers are Kops too.

Listen, I'm afraid I'm going to have to close this thread. I'm sorry for making all of you asking about Cool McCool. Well, the truth is that I wanted to make a Anime Cool McCool AOL Comic Book Series (like Bleedman does the Powerpuff Girls D Comics) If there still Cool McCool Fans out there; who are want more Cool McCool. But I guess there not. It would been fan if Cool McCool would started over as an Anime character But it's just a dream, and it always will be a dream. But at Least I get to draw him just for fun.

Re: Who Remembers Cool McCool

It could be that "Cool McCool" is still very popular with those who know the series, but unfortunately many have likely forgotten or never been born when the show aired.

I dunno, a comic based on the character might be worth a try at that. "Astroboy" (at least before the recent series) and "Supercar" were about as old and obscure as "Cool McCool", yet comics were brought out on them.

I remember Cool McCool. I use to watch him on Saturday mornings at 7am or 7:30. He would come on with Beetle Bailey. The thing that stood out about Cool McCool was his catch phrase, "Danger is my business". What was the name of Cool McCool's boss?
