Tiny Toons or Looney Tunes

I think the subject of this thread was used before. But, I want peoples' opinions. Which show do you prefer: Looney Tunes or Tiny Toons?

I like the Looney Tunes a lot, but I also like the Tiny Toons very much. However, if it was life or death, I would go with the Looney Tunes.

I'm going to say Tiny Toons. They just plain rock. I'm not really into Looney Toons, though.

Oh Looney Tunes, definitely. They have a timeless quality to them, and very few LT cartoons are heavy on the moralizing or political correctness that plague some Tiny Toons episodes ("Pollution Solution", "Elephant Issues", "Playtime Toons", "Ask Mr. Popular", etc.). Plus the animation is consistently, infinitely better (well... aside from Tokyo Movie Shinsa's work on TTA).

Tiny Toons has become dated because it tried to be hip in the early '90s. Look at "Life in the '90s", "Gang Busters", or "Washingtoon", all remnants of the early '90s. Now look at Looney Tunes. Aside from cartoons made about World War II, most of them have themes and conflicts that are still fresh today.

Finally, there are a lot more LT shorts than there are TTA episodes. Even though some sight gags and jokes are bound to be repeated in that colossal amount, they are given more slack because they were made as one-shot showings in theatres, not knowing that they'd be replayed on TV later on.

Re

I do love them both, but I would have to say "Looney Tunes". They just... have something that "Tiny Toons" doesn't. LOl That sounds dumb i know. I love them both.

I would have to call it even. I like both just as much. The classic Loony Tunes Funny and the 90s Tiny Toon comedy, i love the 90s Both have their really good points.

As much as I like both , I would have to say Looney Tunes. Looney Tunes has so many different aspects and charecters, it can never really get old. I will always like Tiny Toons, but I have sorta lost my interest in it, the episodes I have seen on Nickelodeon have made me think diffrently of it, but todays episode was great!! Kool Kat rulez ALL

I like Looney Tunes better because they have a funnier slapstick comedy than Tiny toons who I feel gets boring after a while. Plus Looney tunes are more for an older group while Tiny Toons to me are enjoyed by younger people.

Looney Tunes wins my vote. Let's just say Bugs and Daffy are much more cooler charecters the Buster and Plucky.

Actually I think the TTA cast is supposed to be 13 to 14 years old.

I like both equally well. However I will agree that Tiny Toons degenerated by the later political correctness of the show. And yes it is dated by all the 90's references but that's always been standard with WB animation. The Loony Toons did the same thing back in their day and both had plenty of celebrity cameos. But I'll say one thing that Loony Toons had over Tiny Toons, they weren't preachy or moralistic. Other then that, it's about even.
