Who wants the original All That to return?

This should be in the Entertainment Board, but people her would care more. Who wants the original All That to return? The ones with Josh Server, Amanda, Kenan, Kel, Lori Beth Demberg, and others. I miss the old ones and think there should be a Best of All That. The new ones are funny, but not like the old ones. Mabye then Snick would be Snick again.

I agree, but the new "All That" is not funny. It's just gross and utterly stupid. I miss the "All That" with Angelique Bates. When she was on there, every sketch was funny. The show ruled and was entireably watchable. In fact, just about every season was watchable until damn Jamie Spears and all those other wannabes came and ruined the show. Ah, those were the good ol' days.

Hence the "Toon"

This forum is for discussion of only animated shows from Nickelodeon; threads about live action shows go to The Entertainment Board.

I saw the commercial again later that night except she was lying down when she became invisible so it made it look mch more sexy (excuse my language)! Yes, it had the sparkle format and everything! The thing is, I don't remember the point of the commercial, I think itwas just her disappearing. Anyone ever seen it?

During the mid 90's it was pretty good but I stopped watching in late '99.

I miss it too.

The older seasons were the best, I think it started to go downhill when Danny Tamberelli joined the cast (but not completely downhill.)

It went way downhill with that new cast.

It's not even funny anymore.

And I doubt we'll ever see season sets of All That either...

Completely Agreed!

Disagree, just because I felt that the show was going down hill once Lori Beth left. I NEVER saw anything funny about Amanda Bynes. In fact, I think she was the one that helped make the show go from kids doing humorous sketches to kids screaming for no reason desperately trying to get a cheap laugh (the Ask Ashley skit was the worse, but I guess someone liked it for it to have continued).

I always played around with the idea of SNL atleast hiring Kel, because I miss that chemistry Kenan and Kel had. If I had my way, not only would they hire Kel, they'd bring in Josh, Angelique, and Lori Beth (yeah, I kinda grew up with the show ).

Agree; it was around the time that she came on the scene that I started to think, "You know, this just isn't as funny anymore" and stopped watching. I haven't seen too much of the new seasons, but what I have seen looks terribly unfunny.

A DVD of the original cast's seasons would be nice.

Ah yeah I remember those times. I'd get outa school at two, go outside for an hour, come back and watch Toonami at three, then follow it up by watching All That, then go back outside. Yeah that was good. I don't even bother watching it now though...just doesn't have the same effect.

Oh Lord, how I miss classic All That. Vital Information was never the same when Danny Tamberelli took the stage in Lori Beth Dimberg's place. Personally, I still think the show is a little funny (I like the Harry Bladder skits, those're pretty good), but it's over so quick! All the funny is over in 20 minutes, then they go to the musical guest, and then it's over I know it used to be longer than that!

Nah, it never was longer than that. The only hour episode was the 100th (I still remember it as being a BIG event to me), which was basically three sketches, a hell of a lotta clips, and like five thousand musical guests. At least it was classic All That. The combined fact that Nick called it a "SNL For Kids" and really celebrated the 100th episode of this show kind of meant that unlike SNL, this "SNL For Kids" ain't gonna last forever.

Oh but it did. And it did a faster progression to suck than SNL took (and there was no break in the early 90's)...god it sucks nowadays. For some reason I question why Nick brought it back from hiatus.

Whoever said Kel should be brought to SNL is a genius, I mean, look at Jimmy Fallon and Horatio Sanz...it be like them, except Kenan and Kel can KEEP A STRAIGHT FACE!...
