Dina Meyer Confirmed in Birds of Prey

Dark Horizons has retracted its previous story that Brandy Ledford ("The Invisible Man") was set to star as the Oracle in TheWB's Birds of Prey. It appears that she only mentioned in a chat that she was looking at the role and had not yet been cast.

So the official trio of the new Batman-spinoff is definitely Rachel Skarsten as Black Canary, Dina Meyer as Barbara Gordon/Oracle, and Ashley Scott as Helena Kyle/The Huntress. The pilot is expected to be filmed soon, and then TheWB will make it's official confirmation on whether or not it plans to pick up the series for 13 episodes.
