Cartoon Network unveils Adult Swim Action - Updated

Toon Zone News was the first to report about Cartoon Network's new Saturday night action block. Now, Cartoon Network officially confirmed today at the Winter 2002 Press Tour the launch of a Saturday edition of Adult Swim, scheduled for February 23. The new Saturday edition of Adult Swim will be called Adult Swim Action and will continue to target the 18-24 demographic. The anime action programming block will air from 11:00 PM - 2:00 AM.

Joining current Cartoon Network shows "Tenchi," "Outlaw Star" and "Cowboy Bebop" are "Yu Yu Hakusho," "Pilot Candidate" and "Gundam 0083." The schedule is as follows:

11:00 PM - Yu Yu Hakusho
11:30 PM - Cowboy Bebop
12:00 AM - Pilot Candidate
12:30 AM - Gundam 0083
1:00 AM - Outlaw Star
1:30 AM - Tenchi Muyo
