Wait. When did this series get a laugh track?

EDIT: okay, so it's not really a laugh track.

It happened on the last episode of Flapjack, and now this one. Seriously, it get's really annoying when you hear pre-recorded child laughs every second of the episode.

I think that this was meant to follow the first one. Remember that these episodes are supposed to be shown as 2 in a 30 min period. In that sense, it ruins the gag and the fact that it flows from the previous ep.

Either way - what would otherwise be a standard episode is still made kind of disturbing. K'nuckles being stripped of his body parts while children laugh is kind of unsettling...

Ugh! The laugh track is loud and annoying! Who seriously thought that it was a good idea?

It was on last week's episode too. According to Thurop, they added it in at the last second because they didn't like the episode as-is.

Figured it was intentional, but I would still like to see a version of the episode without them.

Yeah, I thought the laugh track was annoying as well.

Otherwise, an okay episode, but nothing special.

The live audience was still annoying and didn't really disguise the fact that the episode might as well have been a short, but I found it a little funnier this week. Mostly because the audio got blotted out by nothing but CHILDREN SCREAMING at one point and something about a mass of children screaming makes me crack up. XD The actual episode was better than last week's, at any rate.

I'd also like to see the version without the laughing kids.
The creator said that it was a one-time thing for this set of episodes.

The throwbacks like the photo-artist,
and the "booop booop" when Flapjack was drawing on Bubbie were amusing.

I... just can't watch this.

The grating laugh tracks made the first showing's of Glenn Martin DDS's more tolerable...

It’s only for this one episode (two segments). I almost wonder if the episode just came up short when they got the animation back and had to add in the studio audience angle just to stretch the length out a bit.

This is just a thought.

I know that the audience of kids is a one time thing, and annoyed the posters here, but did you consider that the audience joke is kind of a jab at how CN is taking their stance on live action by the crew of Flapjack?

If that was the kind of response they were getting out of you, then something's up.

Then again, I'm probably reading too much into things like this. It's just a cartoon.

That's how I thought about it before Thurop confirmed he put it in as a distraction. I'd still like to think of it that way, but now the desperation in it is a bit more obvious... XP

Actually, people already hated Out of Jimmy's Head before the laugh track was added. Of course, the addition of canned laughter didn't help.

Anyway, the studio audience was only for this 1 episode. Nothing worth making a big deal about.
