Google celebrates Wallace and Gromit's 20th birthday

Check out today's logo:

I'm assuming this is just on Google.co.uk, but I can't confirm since Google.com just redirects me to the UK site.

The logo in the US is celebrating Sesame Street's 40th Birthday.

Yeah, we got Sesame Street based one. It's yellow and the L is basically Big Bird's feet, but that Google Logo featuring Wallace and Gromit is nice. Also, in case anyone is interested, you can download Telltale Games Wallace & Gromit Grand Adventure Episode 3: Muzzled for free in celebration of their 20th anniversary off the official website.

When I go to to google.co.uk I'm getting a Cookie monster related logo. Guess they're done celebrating W&G.

That's a really cute image to celebrate the anniversary of Wallace and Gromit. As others have mentioned, the U.S. Google site is celebrating the 40th anniversary of Sesame Street with their logo.

You'd think it would be nice if either logo was interchangeable through reloads/refreshes given the familiarity of both properties on either side of the Atlantic. The W&G one is WAY more clever!

Oh wait, that was yesterday wasn't it, my mistake! :-)
