And yes, this is the one that Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy guest stars in, for those who haven't seen the ad.

Ah, Monarch. Good to see you again, doing what you do best.

Not since Patrick Warburton have we heard such a manlier voice on this show.

Dr. Mrs. The Monarch has tan lines.

Sunshine on Hank's shoulder does not make me happy.

"It's almost as cool as the Batcave!"

And I thought Sgt. Hatred looked suspicious.

It should have been Dean (to be Wonderboy)... he is far more cute and innocent than Hank

I cannot stop giggling at how awkward this plot is. It's too great. Never thought they'd actually parody Batman, though.

"SLUMBER PARTY!"

Also thought his attack blinding and sunburning everyone was funny.

Awesome episode so far. This is classic Venture Bros.

And Captain Sunshine is awesome on so many levels. Not only is a living parody of the gay-Batman jokes, but he's also voiced by Batman no less.

Also it's great to see the Monarch back in form.

Oh and what the hell happened to 21? I guess he's really let himself go after 24's death.

Hilarious so far. Loved the "due process" line.

Although, Captain Sunshine is a tad creepy for my taste.

Sunshine is a nutcase.

Millionare playboy Bruce White.

Why is he screaming about Wonder Boy--oh cool! They've got a helicopter!

21's beefed up since 24's death.

TEXTBOOK. DEFINITION. OF EPIC.

"You think you could put in a good word to Batman for me?"

lol

Finally got to see the end. At DragonCon, the preview stopped right after the 'slumber party' line.

I think we may see more of Captain Sunshine...

Okay, I was seriously LOLing when Capt. Sunshine was freaking out over Hank and when the Monarch was taunting Capt. Sunshine in the Wonder Boy costume.

Gross Hank kiss is gross though.

Overall great episode and the Monarch was in great form tonight, stupid use-Captain Sunshine's-own-sunrays-against-him plan aside.

Just plain hilarious.

Kevin Conroy was terrific but creepy. And the Superfriends-style narrator voice describing Captain Sunshine's rejuvenated powers at the end cracked me up. Good to see that Sgt. Hatred still has his hang-ups, and the cameo by the Pirate Captain was also welcome.

And I almost bust a gut watching Hank fight the Monarch, especially when he klonked him in the head with the grappling hook. ("Oh, that is it!")

Who knew an episode without Brock could be so much fun?

After last week's gimmicky episode, I was a little bit concerned about what might become of this season. But after watching this recent episode, I was put at ease. The traditional Venture Bros. humor filled up every corner of the episode, and went into overdrive during the final minutes. The entire hostage situation was great due to the goofiness displayed on both sides, with Monarch temporarily, literally, thrown in prison, and his attempts at stalling, and the Doc just constantly trying to get his kids back half-heartedly. Then there was the other plot with Hank and Captain Sunshine, and how the whole thing was funny due to how awkward it was and who was doing the voice of Sunshine. Also, it was hilarious how the guy praising the copter in the news segment was actually the guy piloting it.

Funny episode overall.
