As for me, I plan on getting X-Men Vols. 3 & 4 AND Wolverine!!! Regardless of what the stupid critics said about it, I thought Wolverine was a terrific movie!

I would've also bought Dragon Ball: Season 1 Uncut this week, but I have to save some money for my upcoming Vegas trip at the end of the month. Oh well, I've waited THIS long to get it, I can wait a little longer! I still can't wait to see the UNCUT version of Episode 2! Bulma looked so gorgeous in a relaxing bubble bath!!! It's a shame 10-year-old Goku ruined the moment for her!

James Harvey, I hope my version of the list was ok. You left out a couple of titles in yours. I hope you don't mind.

So I went to Best Buy this morning, right when they opened the door. I looked all over the place, no sign of the Transformers:Season 2.1 release. So I ask one of their employees. Guess what, they never received the item. It's in their ad for the week! How do you not receive an item when it's in your ad! So I went to the Target which is right in the same shopping plaza and bought it there.

I'm kinda tempted to e-mail Best Buy's customer service and explain to them that this is the reason I stopped shopping at Circuit City. And guess what, you dont' see too many Circuit City stores around anymore....

Responsibility for something like this does NOT sit with the store. It is the responsibility of the distributor to ensure that product is sent to the store. If any fault lies with Best Buy, it is the fault of their distribution facility and not the store. If you want to go the route of contacting Best Buy's customer service, feel free to do so. I can not guarantee that it will do you any good, though. Trust me when I say that I have dealt with this situation several times. Sometimes, we will receive the product, but it will only be one or two copies. It can be quite irritating, but it is not my fault nor is it the store's fault. Feel free to direct all complaints about Best Buy toward me. I know the ins and outs.

Back on topic:
This week, I have picked up The Big Bang Theory Season Two, X-Men: The Animated Series Volume Three, and X-Men: The Animated Series Volume Four,, and am considering X-Men Origins: Wolverine on Blu-Ray.

Well, I just want to make sure that I'm being clear. I'm not blaming that particular store location for the error. I blame the corporation. I know that it's not the fault of the employees of that particular store. Just like what I was saying about Circuity City. Circuit City didn't fail because of the individual store's employees. Week after week I would go to Circuit City for new releases, they NEVER had the ones that I was looking for. So I stopped going. What's interesting is that there wasn't even a spot on the floor for the Transformers:Season 2.1 release. So if they were expecting to receive it, why didn't they have a spot for it? Just makes you wonder....

And I forgot to mention in my post earlier. I was SO tempted to buy the next volume of Star Wars:Clone Wars. But I'm just going to have to be patient and know that in November the entire first season will be available at a more reasonable price: http://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-Clon...3052823&sr=8-1.

Same here, except I'm just skipping the latter until I get a bit more money to spare.

There are two locations for Transformers Season 2 Volume 1. The inline area must always have at least one copy, so had they actually received it, it would have been in the Television A-Z section. The other area where it was to be displayed is known as the DVD New Release/Feature Wall. Not all Best Buy locations have them set the same way, but the basic planogram is the same. It would have been in the final row of the standard DVD New Release area on the wall, again had they received any. It is quite possible that they may have received it and already sold it earlier than they should have. Transformers is distributed by Ingram Entertainment, and they typically ship product out earlier than other distributors, often in boxes that are not labeled with a street date tag. This means that employees who are not well versed in street dates may put product out on the sales floor before it really should be displayed. The other issue that may have occurred, besides an issue with the distributor, is that the products may not have been received by the Inventory team. The DVDs may have very well been in the store, but they may not have been checked into the inventory system. Did an employee actually log into the system to check for you? I may have memorized almost every DVD, CD, etc. that we currently carry in store, but I usually log into the inventory system to show the customer whether or not we have something in the event that I know for a fact that we either do not have a product in stock or no longer carry it. I feel that actually seeing the inventory system showing that we do not have something in the store puts the customer at ease and eases conflict. (Explanation over.)

I actually managed to pick up Dragon Ball Season One earlier than expected, about two weeks ago. Normally, I am all about street dates, but because other retailers in the area had already begun to sell it, we were given authorization to sell it as well. I am more than satisfied with it thus far.

Yeah, the guy said that all of the other Best Buys in the area received it. But their location didn't. That's why I blame Best Buy as a corporation for the error.

I got my copy of Wolverine and the X-Men - The Complete 1st Season from amazon.ca today.

I ordered it Monday, got a notification that it was shipped out Tuesday, came home from work yesterday afternoon, then went out, and when I came back, I saw a DHL tag on my mailbox in the lobby of my building saying that they tried to deliver it only to find I wasn't there to pick it up. They tried again today, and I was home to accept it. I only chose standard delivery too, and Friday was the estimated delivery date. Pretty quick, yes?

A very expensive week for me! I picked up Wolverine and the X-Men: Season One, X-Men Volume Three, X-Men Volume Four, X-Men Origins: Wolverine and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2! A great week and I am loving all the cartoons. I may go back for Ninja Turtles: Ninja Tribunal this weekend.

In Canadian dollars, the set was $41.49, while shipping was $9.98. In American, it's $38.83 and $9.34 respectively, making it $48.17 US altogether. So maybe it is worth the price.

Also, um, since I have other priorities, I'm not able to give a full review at this time.
