Transformers: Animated- "Black Friday" Talkback (Spoilers)

Episode 26
"Black Friday"
Premieres Saturday at 10:30 AM
Encores Sunday at 11 AM

Wasp escaped from the Autobot prison. Bumblebee intercepted a transmission announcing that Megatron had a spy inside Autobot command. This caused him to reflect on his experiences at Autoboot Camp and remember a long time friend- Longarm, as well as how he learned that Wasp might be a traitor to them all.

Black Arachnia learns that Prometheus Black has a formula that can seperate technorganic and robotic elements, and she is determined to use that formula to return to her Elita 1 form.

Meet your Autobots:
Optimus Prime: Optimus is the leader of the Autobots that have crashed on Earth. He attended the Autobot academy, but Ultra Magnus made him leader of a salvaging team since he believes Optimus isn't programmed to be a hero.

Bumblebee: Bumblebee may be a young bot, but he has speed and is willing to serve. He worries about having never been programmed for actual battles, but he believes his speed will allow him to overcome any obstacle.

[ Bulkhead: Bulkhead is strong and ready to bust through must challenges with his strength, but he tends to get stuck on the simplest tasks from being too overaggressive. When he tries to adapt others strategies though, he finds he isn't of much use, so crushing everything in his path seems to be the way to go. Many people like to compare Bulkhead to Thing from Fantastic Four.

Grimlock: This Autobot may not always have the smarts, but he certainly has the strength and is the leader of the Dinobots. Grimlock loves to fight and will do anything to impress the ladies, even if it involves criminal actions.

Snarl: Snarl has yet to speak, but he is a willing follower of Grimlock and will do anything to protect those that he feels are loyal to him.

Swoop: This is currently the lone Autobot flyer, making him the most dangerous enemy the Decepticons have, but he loves to fight for anyone who will truly be loyal.

The Decepticons that appears :
Megatron: This Decepticon leader has been watching the Autobots heroics as a head, but now the AllSpark has restored his body. He's ready to test his new powers against the Autobots and Starscream, but will he succeed at destroying all his enemies?

Black Arachnia: This lovely lady is the former Autobot Elita 1, but a tragic accident caused her to be separated from the AllSpark senses and caused her to create a spider half. Now she desires one thing- to return to all robot at any costs.

And, of course, the humans.
Isaac Sumdac: Isaac Sumdac is the creator of Detroit's robot empire, but he has stolen technology from Megatron to do so. He assists the Autobots when he can in secret, but Megatron has kidnapped him for his knowledge in reverse engineering.

Cyrus Rhodes: Rhodes is the willing follower of Black and is thankful for the tech upgrades that have turned him fr being a weakling into one of the strongest men around. Rhodes seems to suffer from what most cronies do though, a lack in the thinking department.

Meltdown: A tragic accident transformed Prometheus Black into the villian known as Meltdown. He has the ability to melt anything he touches that cnotains metal, but Powell has invented a cage that will hold him, assuming nothing helps him to escape.

Sari Sumdac: She is the daughter of Isaac, but no records show her exsistence. As a result, she has moved in with the Autobots and now does anything she can not only to help the Autobtos but also ambush Powell.

Captain Fanzone: Fanzon may hate machines, but he has developed a soft spot for the Autobots and Sari and is willing to do anything in his power to assist them, as long as it will protect the city and not cost him his job.

Porter C. Powell: Powell has reformated Sumdac Systems and is now letting them develop machines in the weapon area. He dismissed Sari and became CEO. While he thinks Isaac may be alive, he refuses to waste any money to seek out fantasies and insists everything he does is for the benefit of all Earth.

Next week
Episode 27- "Sari, No One's Home"
The Autobots are called away to assist with the war, so Megatron decides to attack their Eart base with a couple of old friends- The Constructicons. Can Sari manage to hold them off until the calvary can arrive?

Man did Grimlock have some good moments this episode. Apparently Meltdown isn't quite done in yet. Maybe he'll be more Clayface style now that he's, y'know, an amorphous blob.

Seriously does anyone stay dead? Not that I am complaining, I thought Meltdown had a little bit of Hanniball Lector thing going when he was in jail.

This seemed like a big important even though Megatron and his lackies weren't in it, though Megatron was mentioned. I wonder if the next episode is when they find out who the Decepticon double agent really is?

That was revealed at the end of last weeks episode for us. Longarm Prime is actually Shockwave, but no, the space bridge battle that ends the season is a two-parter that will air in 2 and 3 weeks. Expect it to be revealed then, because that is when Megatron returns to Cybertron.

I know that we know the idenity of the double agents, but the Autobots don't. That is what meant about them finding out. Bumblebee is going to fell like fool when he finds out.

Awesome episode,

Blackarachnia is awesome who's Cree Summer's best villainess ever who's so manipulative, calculating & nasty which she'll turn good like her Beast Wars/Machines counterparts.

Meltdown is my favorite of the supervillains who's the most evilest which I love his slimey color design & he'll return soon.

I love the Dinobots which they rock next to their G1 selves which they were manipulated by Blackarachnia besides Megatron & Meltdown and Grimlock's dumbness is so hilarious.

The slimeball Powell is such a dumb loser which his bashings were great which he deserved it with Grimlock eating him & Fanzone getting him at the end which he would of been arrested since he's so stupid next to the butthead Sentinel Prime.

Personally if I don't know why Blackarachnia doesn't enjoy her powers. Why does she want to be back to normal? It is an advantages being left as is.

But that is just my opinion.

I like her "I am loyal to no one but myself" style. I love those type of anti hero characters that only care about themselfs.

Well to each his or her own. I would embrace that, but that is just me. Anyway I do like the way the show uses her. She doesn't appear that often, and she is not meant to be a character that appears ever other week. Have the audiance highly anticipate her next move by making them wait.

Borrowing someones power was something she had as Elita One however the virus that she transfers when she takes their powers is due to her organic half.

Blackarachnia has this Demona vibe to her that I really like about this version.
