Its so awesome he is directing this.
It says to me, no matter what it won't suck.
Alan Burnett is also a must have on the team for a new Batman DTV!
Its nice to see animation projects that tie into genre movies.
Looks like WB took this idea out of the Lucasfilm play book.
That Clone Wars stuff was nice.
The show tied in great between AOTC & ROTS,
& still had a original style & substance of its own.
In that kind of way I hope Gotham Knight serves the Nolan films by creating a animation universe for them.
Gotham Knight now looks like something to pre-order for sure!
It seems they got a nice concept & a great team.
Again, its cool to see thoughtful anination practices applied when
trying to ape a movie. Clone Wars is the only one I can think of.
Batman TAS/Burton Films are close, but are not really connected.
TAS made use of the dark gothic vibe & some gadgets, but thats it.
One could also say the Burton films influenced the TAS Batmobile.
But as a whole Batman TAS was much more of its own original thing.
And thank God for that!
Batman TAS is much more timeless & will hold up forever!
