And, once again, Jetix's website has posted a sneak peek at the newest W.I.T.C.H. episode, necessitating another early talkback. From tv.com:

Great episode, and the ending was really sad. Also it left on a nice cliffhanger. Can't wait for more.

Good episode, sad outcome. But it's episodes like this make you pray there's going to be a season 3.

*Early review for a first online viewing of the episode, since I'll be at Otakon this weekend.*
Finally, FINALLY! It took eight episodes (six for me, as I've missed two this season) for the new W.I.T.C.H. to give us an absolutely fabulous episode! This is the comedy that was so prevalent in the episodes of Season 1 that made me love this show so much. Nerissa changing Will's astral drop into a living, breathing being (or real close) was the funniest thing ever as she was introduced to the 'joys of feeling things for the first time.' In addition to silly 'new' Will, I loved the barbing between Cornelia and Irma, lots of secondary-power usage (primarily from Will), and bringing up the issue of Will's mom hanging around Mr. Collins again. The ending was great, too. Semi-unexpected, but suprising nonetheless. 8 out of 10 for "H is for Hunted."

Wow. I loved this episode. Down from Elyon's departure with Alchemy to the fistfight between Will and Will (and the dancing), there wasn't much that left me disappointed. The way Nerissa crooned Will at the laundromat kind of made them seem like friends (if just for a minute).

Definitely one of the best episodes of the season. The plot with Will's astral drop self into a living person with feelings, emotions, etc was great and well done. The battle between the two was also great. The ending in which the astral drop nearly dies before being absorbed back to Will was rather sad. We have more ongoing conflict between Will and her mom, which is turning into one of the main focuses of the season.
Elyon's departure left me wanting more. She was very crucial in the plots last season, but now she's rather underused. So far this season, she just makes an appearance just to say a line or two. I love the outfit Susan wore to Will's dance. For some reason she reminds me of Misato (Evangelion). Quote:
.I give this episode a 4.5 outta 5.

I wouldn't say a favorite,,, but good. I'm a little put off using magic to create "life", that's alittle too much power.
But it was fun watching "astral" Will doing crazy stuff,,, cute outfit too ![]() The teacher seeing them as guardians and slamming the door was funny. I expected the end, but felt a little cheated by how easily Nerissa killed her.

Give that astral drop life and let her experience the wonders of being alive so that the drop would have a reason to fight for. As for the out come, damn I guess Nerissa didn't plan on both Wills talking to each other to sort things out. Later. |
