The animators could get away with drawing that near-perfect replica of the Playstation dual shock controller?

I loved the fight between Live Action Cow and Live Action Squirrel with Big Balls. The funniest part to me was when they were like "Live Action Cow's been hurt!" and then it cuts to a shot of Live Action Cow with a band-aid on its side. Priceless. Adult Swim shows only wish it could be this funny.

I also liked the Mario Kart nod. Didn't see the Dig Dug one, though. Then again, I was multitasking at the time, so I wasn't giving the episode my full attention like I probably should have.

My favorite line from this episode is still "Live Action Cow has rabbis!" Even if the commercials on Comedy Central really played that line out.

The flashback to the trucker was awesome. The flashbacks with LAC randomly inserted were too.

Here's a shot of the Dig Dug parody -

If anyone wants any specific caps, I've got about two dozen or so from the show, so I probably have a specific scene capped. I did miss out on capping Lisa and Bart's skeletons in the floorboards though.

I don't get this, i've seen that squirrel in so many t shirts in different stores for all ages, this is definately not the most shocking thing ever on DT.

Let's just say.. if we see more of this kind of Silliness we can bet this could get a third season..(Okay who's next through the Meat Grinder? of Silliness?)
I think Bill Merrick has mentioned working on Season 3,

I'd definately would want to see more 'silliness' with different cartoon cameo's, they are very funny, and essentially what DT should be more about.
I would also enjoy a different cast, i love the current one but i think a different cast would keep things 'fresher'.

as far as this episode can't say anything that hasn't already been mentioned, very funny.

Anyway, no one mentioned one of the funniest lines. Foxy mentions her son having rabies, then a few lines later she says to make sure Wooldoor kills the cow before it says "No, momma, I don't have rabies, I'm just brushing my teeth like you told me to!"

Springfield, Connecticut? What the?! I happen to live in CT.

Funny episode, the Xandir stuff cracked me up since I spent so much time in my youth using cheat codes. Nice to see Toot as more than a punchline.

I also liked all the live action stuff (including Foxy), it was funny. The Star Trek music was great, too.

Timmy and Ray-Ray are the only two I can recall that she's ever really mentioned by name, but there were many others that were referred to that weren't carried to term.

There are many legal issues with using cartoon cameos. In fact, in next weeks episode, there was a Mr. Magoo cameo that legal made us cut. But we do try to get them in when we can.

Season 3 will have the same cast as the first two seasons. We've planned out about ten of our fourteen episodes. I think it's still fresh.

Hey, kids! Can you say product placement?

The reason that the controller is an exact replica is because Sony wanted it to be and Comedy Central made some sort of deal with them. We were just following orders.

I just got back from taking my nephew to see Curious George, and your product placement comment reminded me of the scenes showing george coming to America.

He spent the whole voyage among piles of Dole banana crates.

It's a big source of income for the networks / movie companies. There used to be laws against that sort of thing but now it's business as usual. On the plus side it hurts the reality when a character picks up Wacky brand cola instead of coke or pepsi. But when it's over done, it becomes distracting. If the system was the same 19 years ago as it is today, maybe Homer Simpson would be drinking Bud instead of Duff.

That's a good point, and I'm glad they didn't go with Bud. If they had, we'd be missing out on Fudd, Raspberry Duff, Tartar Control Duff, Duff Dry and every other funny joke that the name brought about. I thought that the product placement worked well within this show, since Xandir is supposed to be an actual video game character. I'm guessing that Toots' "press A, then B..." run was done just in case you guys couldn't use the Dual Shock. Either that, or to show that she had no idea what she was doing.

I believe the series of buttons Toot presses is a reference to a song.

Actually, the series of buttons Toot presses is the classic Konami code (up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, B, A, start). This code has been used in many NES games from Konami. I think they still use it today in some games.

Yeah, that code has pretty much made pop culture status since the days of Contra. I actually heard it on a sitcom the other day when two kids were playing an obvious xbox mockup.

Ah, I can't believe I missed that it was the Konami code. I never thought I'd see that make it into a TV show.
