    Like This Thread!
Where on earth can I find a listing of every single b\w and color "popeye" cartooon ever made so I can make a checklist for the every friday "Popeye" marathons" allo month in march?

Will these just be hours packed with cartoons, or will they be like a 'porky and friends" deal?

    please, someone respond! heeeeeeeeeeeeelp!

Each of these two links will go to the first of a few pages of listings. Scroll down and to the right to go to the next page.

Those blocks in March will almost definitely be all Popeye, not mixed with other cartoons.

    Thanks!

Thats a lot of cartoons - how many did he star in TOTAL? is that pretty much every one of the classic cartoons? did it end at the end of the 50's?

I hope they show most all these on boomerang!

That is 230, which is all the classic Popeye cartoons that I am aware of. Separate from those are the made-for-TV Popeyes, which Boomerang will not air. The originally-theatrical cartoons, which are all you will see, ended in the late 1950s.

    Last questions

With this in mind, some questions for those of you who know POPEYE a bit more then i do:

1.) what cartoons do you think BOOMERANG will show all month - maybe everyone above? only color? Any with "Non PC stuff like Tom and Jerry cartoons?"

2.) What will be the format - cartoon after cartoon after cartoon for 8 hours...or blocks of 3 and commercials, etc.

3.) What is the difference in cartoons shown here and in the POPEYE SHOW that has been on cartoon network sunday nights? will those editions be shown here?

Will CN ever show the Popeye spinoff shows from the late seventies/early eighties? Like Olive in the Army or Popeye & Son?
Want to hear an animal walks into a bar joke?

    Spoiler:
A baby seal walks into a club.

Probably not. If Cartoon Network even has copies of them, they will most likely not dig them up. I do not really care to see them, any way.
