    Yeah, Yahooies all the way!

I want HB to update this show and add new characters to the teams, escpecially the Really Rottens:

    - Dick Dastardly
    - Mojo Jojo
    - Muttley
    - Mandark
    - Toyman (Superfriends)
    - Weird & Bogle (13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo)

Who else should be added to the new Laff-a-Lympics?

I did a similar poll like this a while back because I've always found this show enjoyable. I'm glad to see someone else does too.

I still go for the Scoobies.

In my poll, the Yogis were the most favorite. I wonder how it'll be this time?

I had mixed feelings for characters between the Yogi-Yahooies and the Scooby-Doobies. The Really Rottens were just mainly ripped off versions of previous characters and didn't have that same evil effect as characters like Dick Dastardly.

I believe that this show should be remade and done right this time, but not have teams named after Scooby Doo or Yogi Bear, but teams for each generation instead.

I went for the Scoobies mainly because as a kid that's who I'd root for, if they updated it I think I'd go for the rottens

I don't recall much else about the show except for that rabbit that used to pop up all the time and go 'blech' (or something like it) was he ever in anything else?

I always rooted for the Really Rottens. Did they ever win an event? Anyway, there were many instances where they didn't have to cheat and could have won.

Hmmmm...then I guess they wouldn't be really rotten if they didn't cheat...oh well

I remember once one of the Rottens accidentally won honestly, and got mad about it. I think it was the Dick Dastardly type character.

I always rooted for the Scoobies, but they won so much they never seemed to need it.

I think they won only one event, and that's it. I can't remember how it went, though.
Okay, who are you ToonZone Forum people and why do you keep looking here? I don't look at your page! Know what you are? Well, I'm lookin' right at ya and I can tell you what you are! The Rottens won a few events, and they won the gold medal twice.

On the final ep, the one that took place on the moon, all three teams won.

BTW, the "Magic Rabbit" was with The Great Fondoo--the bad magician on the Rottens team. His only word was, "Brak."

I always was impartial to the Scoobies, but only because Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels were on the team.

If they ever did a remake, they should add a "new school" team with Dexter, DeeDee, Johnny B., and the Powerpuff Girls, among others.

All the PPG and Dexter villains would play for the Rottens, with Mandark or Mojo as Team Captain.

The Laff-a-Lympics marathon that starts today seems like a good reason the bring this thread back. Yogi-Yahooies for me!

Boomerang's doing a full Laff-a-Lympics weekend starting today, which is convenient since the real Olympics begin in a matter of hours. They did the same thing in the last Winter Olympics in February 2002, but only on the Fridays of that month. This month is mainly marathons of the Flintstones on Fridays, but LAL gets sandwiched between the stone age show, but only for this weekend.

Anyway, my favorite team was the Scooby Doobies, the supreme best team of them all! I grew up mainly with Scooby and the gang and I particularly liked Captain Caveman, and especially the Teen Angels. They were hot!!!

And you're right about the Rottens. They won 2 'Lympics outright and tied the other teams for the gold in the final episode. A fitting way to end the series in my opinion.

This was by far one of my favorite cartoons when I was little, although I had forgotten about it for awhile until I saw this thread. I liked having every HB character imaginable crammed into one show. I really wish I got Boomerang, the last chance I had to see this show was when I worked at Blockbuster and we had a tape for rent.

I always loved "Scooby's All-Star Laff-A-Lympics". I myself loved the Yogi Yahooies, but the Scooby Doobies were good too. I loved "Captain Caveman & The Teen Angels" on the Scoobys, and I loved "Yakky Doodle" on the Yogis. LOL I rented a long out-of-stock "Laff-A-Lympics" VHS Tape from my local Blackbuster and taped it. I always loved laff-a-lympics just because it made my summer of '96. I love Really Rottens, just because everything backfires.
