Leonard Maltin's reviews of Bugs and Daffy
I remember watching this film/presentation on an airplane flight and I watched this thing about the Looney Tunes characters that had Robin Williams, Matthew (I forgot his last name), Leonard Maltin, and Steven Spielberg. And, I heard Leonard Maltin talk about Bugs and Daffy and their differences between Mickey and Donald. Here is what he said:
Bugs Bunny is considered to be the Anti-Mickey, because he is everything Mickey is not: irrelevant, not a middle-American, but Brooklyn, a New Yorkee, and a wise guy. And, then he told us about Daffy and his opposition to Donald, he said that Donald is the duck who is most often polite, but I can't remember what he said about Daffy.
Does anyone know?
Thanks, Daniel
